Great place to celebrate special events like birthdays or anniversaries. Everytime we come to Ma Maison we are happy with the food but the feast we had yesterday was beyond our imagination! I really recommend to trust the chef, because the selection of meals, mix of various flavours is incredible experience, like communing with art. Creme brulee was one of the best in my life!

Went there for dinner.nFood was awesome, great taste and cooked to perfection. Wine was also good and they serve some. Very delicious Gin Tonic!nOnly drawback was that the starter we ordered got forgotten but since the portions were of a good size it wasn't that bad.

Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. All the food was beautiful and well presented. More importantly, the taste was spectacular. Our party of 4 could not decide whether the perfectly cooked calamari or the delicately flavoured salmon crudo was our favourite. They were both delicious. Our mains of the best blue cod and chips in Akaroa along with a yummy beef fillet stood out as well. The only disappointing dish was the risotto. However, who orders Italian at a French restaurant? All in all, we can’t wait to return to Ma Maison next time we’re in Akaroa!

Came here a couple weekends ago and had a superb time! My partner and I reserved a table out back and the view was absolutely stunning!nMy partner ordered the pork belly and I ordered the salmon as well as a drink each. We were both very happy with our meals though we wouldn’t have minded a bit more food on the plate! I was advised the salmon was caught fresh THAT DAY and I could tell. The freshness was obvious and so tasty. Would absolutely recommend coming here if you can.
