Like other reviews, I'm another one who went looking for lavender and fell in love with the smoked salmon. This is the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted - perfect flavour and texture in your mouth and a timely treat for Christmas! There was beautiful lavender in the driveway but it's not an active lavender producing garden anymore.

The smoked salmon we bought was absolutely amazing! Probably the best cold smoked salmon I've ever had. We also received the special VIP tour and got to see the actual smoking of the salmon - very impressive! We were sad to hear the lavender fields were no more though - hopefully they will get another patch going soon!

Found this place by accident. We were going for the lavender farm, but the lavender farm changed into a smoke salmon place. Best smoked salmon I've ever had!! And the salmon pate is to die for. Definately pop in here if you're in the area.

Simply food porn. We tried both cold and hot smoked versions and paté and definitely going to buy it again once we'll be passing Takamatua. The taste is simply so good and different from products which you can buy in supermarkets. Recommended.
