Absolutely exceptional. We dined here two nights in a row. Efficient, friendly service. Pizzas incredible. Best Rose’ in NZ. Waterfront view. Staff amazing especially the French waiter. We will be back
Tini was our very first stop in Acaroa, and it turned out to be an excellent introduction.nnWe sat at the counter in the back, looking straight out over the lake — a calm, tucked-away perch that immediately set the tone. The staff were warm and intuitive, and when they noticed we were hoping for a quieter lunch, they gently directed us to the back where there were no kids running around. Instant relief, instant ease.nnThe vibe is relaxed but thoughtful, with a subtle confidence that makes you want to settle in. They make their own gins, which alone is reason to linger, and I can’t recommend the cocktails highly enough — balanced, creative, and clearly made by people who care.nnFood-wise, we split lanes and both won. I had the chili prawns, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat. Nigel went for the beef, rich and satisfying without feeling heavy. Both dishes were genuinely excellent, as was the broccoli side which we shared.nnAll told, it was a quiet, unrushed lunch with great food, friendly service, and a beautiful view — the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve landed somewhere good. Highly recommend, especially if you appreciate calm corners, well-made cocktails, and a restaurant that reads the room.
Their Prosciutto pizza and Kushiyaki Beef Sirloin were delish. We enjoyed dining here and the view was stunning! A beachfront gem in Akaroa. We will come back!
WOW! Tini was truly a highlight of my visit to New Zealand and Akaroa. Tne location right next to the sea os superb. Tbe views of the stunning aqua water is so breathtaking.nThe food, service, friendliness if bte staff - world class.nI cannot wait to return on my next visiti to Akaroa.nPrices are good too, not too expensive and worst every dollar to enjoy relaxing in such a stunning location
Really disappointing experience.nThe firewood pizza had far too much cheese, completely overpowering the taste.nService was poor — when the pizza arrived, we asked waitress for plates and were told, “I only have two hands,” which was quite unprofessional. When plates were eventually brought, they were wet, and even after asking for replacements, we were given wet plates again. We ended up wiping them ourselves.nBasic hygiene and customer service were lacking. Would not recommend.
