Arrived here five minutes before closing and a super helpful man did everything possible to ensure I could shop and get my stuff quickly. I am not familiar with the layouts of such stores in New Zealand and the packaging is different so it took me a bit and he helped point me the way to what I needed.nnSuper easy. Batteries, sunglasses and shaving cream. Yay, a quick in and out. Exactly what I needed. Prices were good. Not great but good.
I'm sure that this is not the first review where returning perfume has resulted in a bad review.nMy experience. My son bought me a perfume from South City chemist warehouse, was not advised of your returns policy at purchase, for my birthday.nOne week later I returned the unopened product as i don't wear it to be told no returns for perfume are allowed, despite advising that I wanted to exchange it, not refund it but to top up another perfume costing $70 more.nnChemist warehouse you should be ashamed of yourselves!nnThis was my birthday present which will not be used.nnBeing my go to suffice to say that i will not be using your services for the foreseeable future and will of course spend my dollars with your competition, Bargain Chemist.nnYour policy is not clearly advertised for all to see in store and my son was not advised of your policy at purchase ..if he had been he would not of purchased...policy is in small print on receipt-I didn't see it.nnFinally I do hope that you lose business as a result of my review, buyers beware!nnDate of experience: 21 April 2024
I just bought two bottles of perfume in south city branch. The registration staff was an Indian woman. She’s not friendly not smile , I’m ok but not feeling pleasant with her. Once I asked for the bag , her gesture is quite rude to me , she pointed to the bag behind me that I should buy it. I just feeling bad with her gesture she treated customers. It shouldn’t be that way for the customer service. Thank you. I hope the comments will help for improvement
Extremely horrible service. I' ve been this store around 1pm today, and the only word their cashier said to me was how much I needed to pay, then passed the receipt without any more words. I asked for a plastic bag, and I was told I needed to pay $1 for a fabric bag as there's nplasticic bags anymore. Then I saw at least three clients with plastic bag out. I tried to get back to talk with the manager, but the female security woman told me RUDELY she can garetee there's no bag and those people who they had the bag bought upfront at home, then brought it here. That's totally NOT what the other customer told me. I insisted on taking it to the manager, but the security woman was still unbelievably rude to in front of my kids, and told me she couldn't see there's any point I needed to bother your manager. Of course, you can't see it. Why does your security guy has the right to make a manager's decision? n
Received super bad customer service by returning a product, I have been their loyal customer for so long time and purchased almost all the daily use skincare and supplement for my families from them and never returned a product in the past. Their staff attitudes to customer is very unprofessional and even laugh at customers. No sympathy at all. Will never shop from them any more.
