The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to offer advice and answer any questions you might have. They stock a wide range of products, from prescription medications to over-the-counter remedies, and their prices are competitive. I also appreciate their support for local initiatives and the general community feel of the place. They really go the extra mile in terms of customer service – everyone is so helpful and polite.nThe only downside, and the reason I haven't given 5 stars, is the often slow service. Be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours. While I understand that prescriptions take time, even simple purchases seem to involve a bit of a queue. If they could improve the speed of service, this chemist would be absolutely perfect. Despite the wait, the excellent staff and comprehensive offerings make it well worth a visit. Just be sure to factor in some extra time!

The quality of the dispenser service is declining. Prescription sent the day before. Went to pick it up the next day, nothing was prepared. Tried to call before but no one ever picked up the phone. When asked whether one can call before hand, was told yes. The actual pharmacists were nice. The interns or the pharmacy technicians were extremely rude!nnWith Woolworth and soon Chemist Warehouse at Hornby, I don't think I will go back for my prescription again.

APPALLING!!nI was charged twice for the same purchase .nI said to the staff at the time I had seen the first transaction shown as accepted on screen but they insisted it hadn't gone through and therefore had to do the sale again.nThe Manager stated she had checked the transaction with Head Office and insisted I had not been charged twice and it was Westpac's error which would be reversed in 1 to 5 days.nI rang Westpac who verified that there were 2 separate transactions and Bargain Chemist did owe me a refund.nThen I had to make another trip to get my refund as they wouldn't/couldn't do it electronically.nBEYOND USELESS!nHow many others are charged twice and don't realize?

Got my prescriptions sent here 20-30min before arriving, upon checking in at the counter was meet with baffled looks and after a few minutes was told they'd found it and to wait 10min. Got called up to collect to find they'd only prepped 1 of x4 items because they were on 2 scripts. Ended up spending nearly 30min waiting due to their systems and processes. If I could give 0 stars I would.nnWhat you save in money here you lose in time.
