Chemist Warehouse New Lynn is consistently busy, with lines at both the front counter and pharmacy section almost guaranteed for regular shoppers. The staff are reasonably friendly, though you can sometimes sense they're a bit worn from handling challenging customers. A standout is the security team, who are always super welcoming and helpful, adding a friendly face to the busy atmosphere. Overall, it's a pretty standard pharmacy experience with a broad range of products at good prices; just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times.

Would have to be the worst in Auckland that I've been to in terms of customer service. Had a young girl with blonde and blue hair with glasses try to relay a request to a manager because she couldn't understand the simplicity of it - the eye rolls and ugly face said it all....rude, rude, rude. I would give it 1 star but I know this rudeness isn't a reflection of all staff.....just some obviously.

Some staff members are friendly, courteous, talkative and caring, while some are just plain rude. She miss heared my last 4 digits but blame and scold me saying that I say the wrong numbers; also if you need to get things done fast, better stay away from this one. My doctor sent the prescription 30 mins ago, and I told them that I'm coming in 15 mins; but they only get the prescription when I was at the pick up counter and I need to wait again. What's the point of having the prescription sent electronically if you only check it when the patient arrived to pick it up and have to spend more time to wait?nOnly because of those kind staff members that I still gives 4 stars, otherwise it'll be 1 star.

I usually don’t put negative feedback on a public platform. But my experience today with chemist warehouse New Lynn store made me leave this review. Looking at other feedbacks, seems like most people are on the same page of staff being rude and unprofessional.nnI went to the store around 7:45pm to buy a perfume as a birthday gift for a family member but I ended up not buying. I walked into the store, there was a lady called Shayna in the perfume section. I approached her and asked her nicely to help with a perfume testing. First of all no greetings, no hello. She just gave me the tester I asked for, locked the door and walked off. I was very surprised that she didn’t even ask if I wanted to buy or wanted to try other fragrances. I was looking at the options and wanted to try two more so I was looking for an employee. A security gentleman at the entrance was good, he smiled and asked if I needed any help. I said I wanted to try perfumes. He went to check for a staff but no one was available. He said someone will assist soon. 5 mins gone and no one came. He went again to check for someone but no one came. I said to him this is very disappointing. He said there is this girl Shayna who has the keys to perfume section and she was gone somewhere.nn15 mins in the store and I didn’t get assistance to buy a perfume. I was in the rush and had a tired and cranky toddler. So I had to leave the store without any purchase.nnI will not recommend chemist warehouse new Lynn branch due to the unprofessional staff except for the security gentleman at the front. He was greeting everyone with a smile.
