I went to shop for 1 specific item, I asked 4 staff members where I could find 1 item clearly describing the name and the use of this product. Both given 4 different answers by people that work there. I found it on the bottom shelf after being told they don't have it.nThey have good sales but it's very packed and hardly room to move. No good for walkers, strollers or wheelchairs

14th Oct 2025, I visited this shop at 8pm to get my prescription & buy something else. And it’s my second time to be served by a young male employee at the check out who is sooo rude & harsh in his dealings with customers. I asked for the Manager on Duty from the lady guard but could not find the Manager. The lady employee at the prescription counter is exactly the opposite of the one at check out. The lady employee is very personable & friendly.

Nice and small chemist warehouse. Very busy place sometimes. Heaps of good deals and products. Some staff members are friendly, courteous, talkative and caring, while some are just plain rude. She miss heared my last 4 digits but blame and scold me saying that I say the wrong numbers; also if you need to get things done fast, better stay away from this one. My doctor sent the prescription 30 mins ago, and I told them that I'm coming in 15 mins; but they only get the prescription when I was at the pick up counter and I need to wait again. What's the point of having the prescription sent electronically if you only check it when the patient arrived to pick it up and have to spend more time to wait?nOnly because of those kind staff members that I still gives 4 stars, otherwise it'll be 1 star.

Chemist Warehouse New Lynn is consistently busy, with lines at both the front counter and pharmacy section almost guaranteed for regular shoppers. The staff are reasonably friendly, though you can sometimes sense they're a bit worn from handling challenging customers. A standout is the security team, who are always super welcoming and helpful, adding a friendly face to the busy atmosphere. Overall, it's a pretty standard pharmacy experience with a broad range of products at good prices; just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times.
