I dont usually make bad reviews. But the customer service at the pharmacy area of the store was disappointing.nMy partner and I came to collect his prescription.nThey told us the doctor had made a mistake with the prescription and they would need to contact the doctor to fix the mistake, they asked us to come back another day when it was fixed. We totally understood this and left. A couple minutes later we got a messege saying it was ready to collect, so we called to make sure. The lady on the phone was rude when we said we had just left because we were told it wasnt ready. But thats fine we went back and collected the prescription. Another lady then told us we should have made sure the prescription was correct. This is not out job it is the doctors job to make sure the prescription is correct. I am not happy with their service when we were respectful to them the whole time.

Absolutely terrible experience with Chemist Warehouse New Lynn. I called regarding a repeat prescription, and the phone call quality was extremely poor. I could barely hear the staff member, which made the conversation difficult from the beginning.nnThe staff member became extremely angry with me and said that I had not picked up my prescription from a few months ago. I had already picked up that prescription, so I am not sure why I was being told otherwise. I had the medication at home, have since finished it, and was simply calling because I now needed my repeat prescription.nnShe then kept telling me that I needed to bring my prescription from home into the pharmacy, which is something I have never been asked to do before. Instead of calmly explaining what I needed to do or helping me resolve the issue, she repeatedly raised her voice and told me to “listen, listen” in a very rude and aggressive manner.nnI was honestly so shocked by the interaction that I just said “okay, thank you” because I was genuinely baffled. Rather than sorting out the issue or explaining the next steps, she simply said “bye” and the call ended.nnThis is not an acceptable standard of customer service. No customer should have to be spoken to in this manner, particularly when they are simply trying to arrange a repeat prescription and resolve an issue. I found the interaction extremely disrespectful, intimidating and unprofessional. I sincerely hope this is addressed, because customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect when seeking assistance from a pharmacy.

I wish I could give zero stars. The service from this company has been extremely disappointing.nI purchased an electric toothbrush as a Mother’s Day gift, but it didn’t work at all, it wouldn’t even charge. When I returned to the store, I was told they needed to contact the supplier before they could process a refund. Completely unacceptable.nIt has now been over a week with no update. I was promised a call once they heard back from the supplier, but I’m still waiting. This level of customer service is simply not good enough.nThe staff member I dealt with was Jenni, and I am still waiting to hear back from her.

After work, I popped into this store to get a few products. I was warmly greeted at the door by Jacob Mattar! I walked in looking at my list on my phone and also looking both tired and overwhelmed - where to start to find these products? Jacob being attentive, asked if he could help. I quickly said yes, and he led me straight to where each of the products sat! Throughout the entire time, he was positive, joyous, nothing was too much trouble, and I was amazed at how much he knew about each product! . He was / is a SUPERSTAR! Thank you Jacob for your outstanding service, help and kindness.

am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Chemist Warehouse lynnmall. I am currently pregnant, and it is very obvious that my baby is still in my womb. I accidentally purchased a 1+ bottle instead of 0+ and simply requested to swap it. I did NOT ask for a refund — I only wanted an exchange for the correct product.nDespite being a regular customer, my request was denied without any empathy, understanding, or basic courtesy. The bottle was unopened and in perfect condition. There was absolutely no reason to refuse a simple swap.nThe lack of compassion shown, especially towards a pregnant woman, is shocking and unacceptable. Even i talked to the lady manager. Customer service should not only be about policies but also about humanity and understanding. This experience has left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a loyal customer.nI sincerely hope top management reviews their customer service standards and trains staff to handle situations with more empathy and professionalism. This behavior does not reflect well on a company that claims to care about its customers.nVery disappointing.
