Baycrest Thermal Lodge

Highly recommend Baycrest! We got stuck in a bad experience last weekend, Kim & Mike saved the day. So grateful for their help. Coming to stay with them was the best decision. Room was spacious and homely. Bed were comfortable. Pool was amazing! Thank you so, so much. We'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Taupo, this is it.nThe rooms were spacious and very clean. Nice thermal pool to use and comfortable beds.nOur room had a spa bath which looked nice, but was not used by us as we loved the thermal pool outside. Views of the lake are good, but you are up high and looking over other properties. Nice balcony to enjoy the view from and the rooms are underfloor heated, very welcoming on a cold May day.

We stayed at Baycrest Thermal lodge for one night in a spar suite. It was such a lovely place and the family helping us at reception where fantastic! Such great local knowledge :nI'd highly recommend staying there.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My husband and I stayed here for one night while on our honeymoon and the couple who run the lodge couldn't have been nicer. They upgraded us to an amazing room with a private geothermal soaking pool, helped us out with the EV charging station for our car, and even included a complementary bottle of bubbly. Such an amazing experience. I highly recommend the Baycrest Thermal Lodge if you find yourself in Taupo.

We had a ground floor and second floor family apartments. Both were fantastic. Absolutely recommend this for the lovely staff, great location, cleanliness and comfort. Loved the thermal pool. We will definitely stay again. We'll worth the money.
