Awanui Labs - Chapel Downs (formerly Labtests)

This was my first visit to Awanui Labs- Chapel Downs. I was attended to by Dave, who was very professional, helpful, and cheerful. The procedure was carried out smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Great experience!! Had Travis do my bloods and he was a legend, I don’t often have someone find my veins first go but he did it!! Awanui labs you are very lucky to have such a lovely employee.

The older island lady at the desk while i was there today was just rude. 11/09/2023. I had my appointment booked for special testing, i signed in she later comes around to the desk and just calls out 'are you the one who's going to be here for 2 hours? Wheres your form?' Then she was sighing and carrying on like she couldn't stand her job. If you've got no customer service skills, you shouldn't be in a customer facing role. The whole place was disgusting and filthy. The toilets had dark brown grime around the base , there was pee on the floor, floors dirty, and all the pee containers were in a bin with no lid so it just smelt like urine and wasn't a pretty sight looking at containers with pee in them in the open bin. The walls need a clean and the place needs a good vaccuming and mopping. Or just open a new one and start fresh. I felt like a needed a good shower after leaving there just felt yucky because of the state of it.

Very poor from a customer service perspective. Staff are absolutely unfriendly and cold. Very unclear on their procedures and push the onus on patients to know about the clinic's administrative procedures.nnStaff definitely need to be retrained and management need to look into this.

Customer service always 0 zero in this clinic.I have done skin test last Friday and they received results same day.. but no one even bother to post me. And am dealing with serious allergy. When i gave them call today customer representative said “ u did last Friday”.nnGoing to change my Doctors. Lazy people working here. Who even Donot care about service.
