Flatbush Holiday Accommodation

Family stayed in 3brm apartment 2 months ago. Place presented nice and tidy at first, however multiple family members complained in the morning about feeling itchy and showing bite marks, after examining all beds and the sofa, there were signs of bedbugs across all but one single bed. The main rooms being the master room downstairs and the double room upstairs were multiple bedbugs were spotted in each. Some photos attached. When informed of the issue not only did they provide fairly poor customer service, the place ended up only offering us to go back and stay for a 50% discount for 2 people. They only stated they confirmed they found bedbugs downstairs with no assurance that they had treated the whole apartment properly to remove all bedbugs. Why would we risk staying again? NO thanks!

I would not recommend Flatbush Holiday accommodation. We booked as an extended family to be together and advised such when booking. Our family group was split over 2 properties, which was very disappointing. Check-in was not seamless, and there were errors made with number of nights booked. The cleanliness of the rooms and common lounge area was not acceptable, you don't expect other peoples pubic hair on the floor and in the shower. The rooms may have been cleaned, but not very well, the bed head and windowsills were very dusty, which set off my asthma. We asked for clean towels for our 2 days stay and were told it would be $10.50. Overall a very disappointing experience and not one that I intend to repeat.

Honestly one of the best places I've stayed at in New Zealand. To my understanding there are two buildings at this location and the one we stayed at had one suite downstairs and 4 upstairs.nn1 common area upstairs with a air con, mini fridge, microwave, table, and couch as well as the shared bathroom that has a bathtub, separate shower, toilet, and two sinks.nnDownstairs has a common area with a dinning table and couch and the other common area has 3 tables, air con, a full size kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, etc, a deck outside, as well as a couch and futon. In addition there is a shared bathroom downstairs with just a toilet and sink.nnVery clean and great amenities. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. The only thing I can think of that wasn't the best was the soundproofing which could be better.

2 bedroom town house 4 minute drive from check in. 1 x carpark. Very warm clean and tidy.

A real bargain! Very comfortable and stylish. The staff are friendly and the houses are stunning. Much more convenient and the usual lodge or hotel. It's in a very nice bright neighbourhood and has parking. It's secure to park our on the street because it's safe. Looking forward to having another stay. The houses are very modern.
