From the moment my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer Totara Hospice was involved, The Nurses Sophianand Hannah who had so much empathy and care towards my mother Diana and especially myself.nThey had supported me through the whole process.nI am forever grateful to Hospice and the team.nMum sadly passed last week, however she was so well taken care right to the end.nShe is now free.nnFrom the bottom of my Thank you!
You guys took such good care of my father and my family thank you so much for everything forever grateful for the loving and caring staff
I can't thank hospice for all they did for mum at home with me..nThey admisted mum meds to help with her end of life care and showed me how to give her her pain relief as by now she was no longer speaking. She had been in bed for the last 24 hrs.nI had cared for mum for nearly two years.nThey let me know that mum didn't have long..nI had heard by hear say how Wonderful they were. You really can't comprehend just how much so until you need them.nMum and I had always supported hospice.nIt was my pleasure to give them mums care aids and everything else we had here for her..nThanks to Hospice mum passed peacefully in her sleep.nShe looked so peaceful after struggling with several COPD and arterial fibululation for such a long time.n- it's been 15 months already since mum gained her angel wings.nI'd now like to do volunteer work for Hospice as a way of thanks for all they did for mum and I.nWe discovered that there is not enough volunteers who are able to hands on in people's homes to give a career a much needed break .nThank you so much for all you did for Mum...Lydia West
Kia ora,nnThis place, we are so privileged to have a place like hospice, so supportive, I had a close friend-sister at Totara Hospice, I was allowed to stay with her over night, she passed a couple years ago, and now they have visited another friend-sister of mine, who is ready to go there as well.nnWe as maori get a little whakamã, it's because we don't know, this is the best place for your loved ones, they are treated with respect, Manakitanga and tautoko awhi we could go on for Eva, it gives your whanau relief knowing they have everything there to keep your whanau comfortable for their last journeynnNga Mihi ArohanWhanau
