Auckland City Toyota - Mt Wellington Super Store

Tane was very approachable making my time at Auckland City Toyota Mt Wellington special. He showed me different options of the vehicle I choose giving me what was important to me.nTane was friendly to me and my daughter Paige who appreciated that he looked after myself and answered my questions respectively.nI’ll also like to acknowledge Sarah who simplefied the financial side and insurance cover.nTane went above his role of sales consultant making it special when I arrived as my Toyota Rav 4 looked brand new gleaming and sitting in side the building. Thank you!!

I visited the showroom today and am now the proud owner of a Prius Alpha 1.8 Hybrid S. in all my years of shopping for cars, I have never felt so welcome and valued as today. From the minute I arrived I was warmly greeted and the whole experience from view to test drive to payment was seamless and friendly.nExtra special mention to Chevy Glozier who looked after me from start to finish. He is a credit to the Mt Wellington branch and the Toyota brand. He has excellent product knowledge, gave helpful advice and was a pleasure to deal with. He is an asset to the business and deserves recognition.nA wonderful experience, highly recommended! Thanks team!

Bought my car here with Jesse who's very knowledgeable.Very happy with the whole experience. Finance was easy and smooth with Joslyn. Great service and unlimited car options! Highly recommended! Thanks!

UPDATE - 11/6/2026nnUpdating my previous review: the Toyota Mt Wellington general manager reached out and made a genuine effort to resolve the situation, and Mat the salesperson the day after was consistently professional and helpful throughout. Thanks and appreciate GM and SP's time over the phone.nnThat said, the main concern remains the initial interaction with the used car manager, which felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. As this is typically the level customers deal with, it significantly impacts the overall experience.nnWhile I acknowledge the follow-up efforts, I would still recommend considering other dealerships, particularly for used vehicles.nn-------nI visited the dealership today and had a mixed experience. The salesperson who assisted me was incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive. However, my interaction with the person who appeared to be the manager was disappointing. He was quite aggressive when explaining the situation, which felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It is Toyota asset I wanted to buy but my situation was very clear from the start. While I appreciate the great service from the salesperson, the manager's behavior ruined the overall experience. Highly recommend to use other dealerships or find a time the manager is off.

I've had the best experience buying this vehicle Tane was an absolute professional to deal with between him and James made this an easy job i recommend this team, they are great and so accommodating. The truck is towing the caravan with ease.
