UPDATE - 11/6/2026nnUpdating my previous review: the Toyota Mt Wellington general manager reached out and made a genuine effort to resolve the situation, and Mat the salesperson the day after was consistently professional and helpful throughout. Thanks and appreciate GM and SP's time over the phone.nnThat said, the main concern remains the initial interaction with the used car manager, which felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. As this is typically the level customers deal with, it significantly impacts the overall experience.nnWhile I acknowledge the follow-up efforts, I would still recommend considering other dealerships, particularly for used vehicles.nn-------nI visited the dealership today and had a mixed experience. The salesperson who assisted me was incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive. However, my interaction with the person who appeared to be the manager was disappointing. He was quite aggressive when explaining the situation, which felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It is Toyota asset I wanted to buy but my situation was very clear from the start. While I appreciate the great service from the salesperson, the manager's behavior ruined the overall experience. Highly recommend to use other dealerships or find a time the manager is off.
