Our Tesla delivery experience was extremely disappointing and stressful.nnOn the scheduled delivery day, we arrived excited to collect our brand-new vehicle, only to discover a significant paint defect/dent on the car that had been assigned to us. The damage was clearly visible and should have been identified during pre-delivery inspection long before the vehicle was presented for handover.nnWhat concerned us most was the initial response from staff. We were encouraged to accept delivery of the damaged vehicle and arrange repairs afterwards through the service centre. When we requested a replacement vehicle, we were initially advised that another vehicle may not be available for approximately three months and that we “needed to take delivery” because the vehicle could not continue to be held there.nnAs customers purchasing a brand-new vehicle, we did not feel it was reasonable to accept a car requiring immediate workshop repairs on the day of delivery.nnThe situation only changed after escalation and discussions regarding refund options. Eventually, the manager arranged a replacement vehicle, which we appreciate, and Curtis was professional and supportive throughout the process.nnHowever, the overall experience caused significant inconvenience and disappointment. Our original delivery date was also our anniversary, and we had specifically organised leave from work and planned our day around collecting the vehicle.nnWhile the matter was ultimately resolved, the delivery process and initial customer handling fell well below expectations for a premium brand experience. We hope Tesla reviews its inspection and customer service processes to prevent similar situations for future customers.

He handled all of my inquiries patiently and extremely professionally.nnTinder was very transparent with communication regarding my trade-in vehicle.nnThe lovely lady who checked me in I could not catch her name, unfortunately on delivery day was very pleasant and friendly.nnHarwinder handled my vehicle delivery. He was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable during my delivery process. He also took my photos with my new car as I had gone in on my own.nnAll in all, I have had a very positive experience with Tesla Auckland South’s team and recommend them without hesitation. I'm visiting Auckland from a totally different continent and wanted to see if this Tesla center had any cars with the new arctic blue color which doesn't exist yet in my region. I got lucky and was able to find one! Staff were helpful and we had a good chat
