Rented a car for 2 weeks recently.nCould use a debit card to pay but was asked for a credit card for retention which name must be same as per renter.nDidn't have the problem when renting with Apex in Melbourne last year.nnMost if not all credit cards allow the name on the card to be different from actual name.nApex may need to look at this issue, should accept if proof of ownership can be provided when name ls are different.

We were initially apprehensive as we always booked car rentals directly from the airport, never tried this option where you are taken to an off site from the airport and then given the car. But our experience with Alex has been stellar! I called the apex rentals just to clarify where the pickup will be from and they explained everything really well. Graham was our driver who ferried us from the airport to the Apex car rental site which was around 5-10 mins from airport. Paying and getting was super easy and quick and we were given a less than a year car which was spotless and well conditioned. The entie trip, the car was solid, lot of comfort and strong, steady and sturdy, handled the roads like a dream. The seat back support was great for me, as i have a bad back. Overall a brilliant experience and i would def recommend alex to everyone and would use them without hesitation again!

What a smooth drop-off! Convenient petrol station right next door as well.nnThe inspector were noting the licence plate and grabbed the car keys and only asked if there were any issues, which we mentioned all is well apart from the wiper making the scrapping noise.nnThat's all and then we hopped on to the free shuttle to the Airport terminal!

Rented this car for a three week term from Queenstown to Christchurch and it was fantastic. The pickup logistics at ZQN Queenstown airport were smooth and quick - one could almost walk to the car rental location if needed. The car was clean and efficient, with no major issues some slight wheel alignment needed to be done by the end of our trip.nnAt drop-off in CHC, the staff were super friendly and efficient. The shuttle driver even helped us load the suitcases into the back and the various bags upfront as the baby had fallen asleep.nnWould definitively prioritize using Apex over others for any future rentals in NZD.

Rented from Apex Christchurch four separate times forgot to take a picture the fourth time  and have to say I am very pleased with the received service.nnThe vehicles whist are not BRAND new, are very decent and have great tech such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which being tourists makes driving with maps very handy. We recently rented the Mitsubishi Triton to drive to/from Mount Cook and were very pleased with it. For a total 7hr drive 3hrs there 4hrs back, it was very comfortable and very fuel efficient.nnAlso a big kudos to the staff who are amazing and kind! Definitely renting again
