I had the pleasure of renting a Kia Carnival from Ace Car Rental, and I must say, it was an absolute standout experience! From the moment I booked online to the instant I returned the vehicle, the entire process was seamless, efficient, and genuinely friendly.nnThe staff at Ace went above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I needed. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and incredibly helpful – answering all my questions and making spot-on recommendations.nnThe vehicle itself? Immaculate! Clean, modern, and perfectly maintained. I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail and the overall quality of the car.
I have stayed in New Zealand for about one month and I am glad I only have to review two bad reviews about New Zealand. Ace rent car is inconvenient to pick up the car after hours which is after 5pm. They charge you 30dollars. Also, they said the car I booked is gone by no reason they said they have use the car in the evening and can only pick next day which is a ridiculous excuse I booked the car way to early and paid upfront where they should hold it for me So I have to pay 20dollars more per day for another bigger SUV which I didn’t book for extra 160dollars. That was unpleasant. Lastly, they charged me for fuel after I return the car without letting me know and with no receipt. I did make it full tank I have receipt of. The fuel station and the return place is just two minutes away so I don’t understand how I got charged for. They transfer me to Queenstown to explain the reason but never answer the phone.
I absolutely loved the guy serving me. He was so friendly and accomodating to my needs. Thank you for your absolutely amazing service. I dont know your name however I hope you get a pay rise or some recognition for your spectacular service. You are a dime a dozen type person in the service Industry.
We had a great experience with ace. Friendly staff, we got a free upgrade and no hassle when picking up and dropping off the car. Also no hidden costs!
Pleasant experience picking up our car from Christchurch and dropping it off at Queenstown. Took us a while to book our shuttle pick-up service from CHC as the online portal was a little confusing and we needed to enable location services on the mobile’s browser, but we got there eventually. Shuttle driver named Percy was friendly and welcoming, and the person who processed our information and gave us the car keys named Sam was great as well. Our rented X-trail was in good condition.nnDrop-off at Queenstown was a little confusing as the drop-off location listed in our order confirmation email was closed on our drop-off day, and instead had a paper stuck on the storefront that asked us to park at a Hertz drop-off location at the airport. Nevertheless we managed to find the new drop-off location and returned the keys to a Hertz representative. All in all a pleasant experience.
