Attention all CAR OWNERS, I have rented out my two cars through your drive, All went good until one of my clients bring back the car with cracked windshield. I have informed yourdrive and they ask me to get the quote. I have done the same and they finally approved. But even after more than two weeks of emails NOTE: They cant be contacted through Phone as they don't have any. No money have reimbursed yet. They made the promise twice but nothing have happened yet. VERY disappointed with truly unprofessional way of dealing stuffs.

worst experience - I would have given zero If I could We booked and paid for car. Last moment driver could not arrange the car and he cancelled it. Company is blaming us for not contacting them but their contact us page was not working at all. I tried to upload screenshot and videos for that. I ended up paying double to another rental at last moment and had harassment. Company is blaming us for everthing and refunded like they are doing us a favour that they refunded and trying to escape from compensation for the mess up. I wouldn't recommend them higely.

YourDrive is an awesome, affordable service. You can find a car that's super close to where you live, click to book it and then wander over whenever you want to pick it up. It's way cheaper than car rental places and the insurance is super cheap too.

The idea makes sense, but in practice I don't think it works. I have rented a Toyota for 3 days at the cost of 180$. The price is more or less what I would have paid with a rental company but in the end I felt I had much more hassle. The owner was friendly at the beginning provided USB charging cable and offered mints but it became pushy. He asked me to use premium fuel I don't even use it in my own car. Then he asked me to clean the car professionally inside and outside apparently it is part of the website's rules. He asked me to clean it despite the fact that wasn't delivered very clean, and sent me a screenshot of the rules. The fuel tank was also not full, as soon as I left his house the indicator went down by a notch approx 100km of fuel. The car was ok but had 110,000 km and was probably a few years old, so generally lower standard than what you would get from a rental company. Pick up was out of town so not very convenient but owner let me park my scooter at his place so that helped. Overall it went ok but I don't think I will use the service again. Not much saving and the process is much more uncertain.

Terrible experience - if I could give it a zero I would. I booked and paid for a campervan and arrived to pick it up and the camper hadn't been arranged. I paid for a camper that then I couldn't use for the rental period. I have since been trying to get compensation for the mess up and the time I paid for that then wasn't used. Despite emailing on multiple occasions I have heard nothing from the company. It's one of the worst experiences I have had with a company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Absolute joke of a company. I was a car owner renting my car to yourdrive. Had someone rent my car and was issued 5 speed camera tickets. 3 times I have sent the tickets to yourdrive with an email Asking that the transfer liability. 3 times they say it’s all sorted and not worry. Now I have court action pending and possibly a warrant for my arrest as these tickets still haven’t been paid or transferrred. They have real lousy communication and after your car gets flogged and yourdrive take 40% plus these tickets it’s just not worth your hassle.

Rented a car for 4 days, I used the car for 1 1/2 days then it wouldn't work. The owner picked up the car on the 2nd day after the assistance was caherged on me, and was charged for whole 4 days + roadside assistance +120nzd. The site always took the owners side. It was the most expensive 1 1/2 days car rent I ever payed for and the worst experience I ever had in NZ.

Used for the first time last weekend to rent an EV. Had a few queries beforehand which were all answered by customer services quickly. Excellent service to allow people to efficiently share their cars

Amazing service! I have booked with YourDrive several times and each time I am blown away by their extraordinary customer service and friendly staff. Don’t waste your money with typical rental agencies, they will shake you down for every penny with hidden fees and BS! YourDrive is the best

Be aware car owners, I have not received my January earnings from Yourdrive. Its already two weeks overdue. You might consider taking your car out.
