Faultless dealings, got a beautiful "as new" 2022 3200km Corolla sedan. Friendly and helpful attitude from staff. Fast turn around to and from the airport, 5 minutes... faster than the airport based rentals especially as you do not have to find car yourself, and can review car in person with provider if any issues; prices are as good as it gets for the $ in Hobart, re a like for like vehicle. Actual hire car was surprisingly rewarding to drive, and had flawless neutral handling, braking and torque delivery was a nice seamless delivery from idle.
Super happy with the YesDrive service. As far as car rental companies go, they are one of the best I’ve dealt with. Reasonably priced and convenient pickup from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. They were responsive via phone and Whatsapp which made the process a breeze. We used their Mitsubishi Outlander and it was a pleasure to drive. Clean, low KMs and good on fuel. Would definitely use them again next time I visit Hobart.
YesDrive Car rentals were friendly, trustworthy, approachable, and provided an excellent car hire experience. Their customer service was something that is rarely found nowadays, and I would definitely book with them again on our next trip to Hobart. We hired a Toyota for 10 days in October at a comparable cost to Budget, Avis and Hertz. Budget and Avis often use tricks to squeeze more money out of their customers such as insurance and km or location restrictions. I know this because I’ve used them for business. YesDrive in contrast, were upfront, clear and what they quoted is exactly what we paid. In fact they added a second drive on the day of hire for not change in cost. They also did a thorough in person car check with us at the start, and sent their photos to us and asked us to send our photos to them to create a personal trust that I haven’t encountered in a car hire service before. I would strongly advocate for this car hire service as a more trustworthy hire service available at Hobart airport; in contrast to some of the “big name” car hire brands. I hope to see their business grow but keep its very personal way of doing things.
When we were looking for a car hire for the Christmas/NY period, we came across YesDrive. They have a good range of vehicles and the pricing was extremely competitive so we thought we would use them. Once we got to Hobart, they helpfully picked us up from the airport and the in-person piece was smooth. The car we got was new and drove well. When we did want to head over to one of the islands, the process to get approval from the staff was very easy. And the hand over at the end was as smooth as the pick up. Throughout, we dealt with very friendly and professional staff which sealed the deal. We are very happy to have used YesDrive and recommend you check them out if you want a top notch car hire experience while on the Apple Isle.
Really super happy with Yes Drive! I was nervous booking through a smaller company but what a fantastic experience. The car was clean, new model and just as expected. The customer service was superior to most other companies I've booked through - they were warm, friendly, really nice phone manner and nothing was too much trouble. Great team, really professional. Will definitely book through them again!
We were so happy with our dealings with YesDrive Car Rentals, Hobart Airport, from our initial booking to the return. We booked our rental online as YesDrive had quite good reviews and the price was significantly less than if we'd booked with their competitors. We were picked up from the airport not long after advising the YesDrive office we'd arrived and collected our luggage around 8:30pm. The staff were fantastic, quick to process our pickup and upgraded us from a Hyundai Accent to a Mitsubishi ASX. The vehicle was clean, great to drive and on returning almost three weeks later, the drop off was just as smooth as the pick-up had been, and shortly after we were dropped back to the airport for our return flight. We really appreciated the fuss-free and friendly service we received and would have no hesitation in recommending YesDrive Hobart to others.
Highly recommend these guys. Super easy to book with and reasonably priced. The staff were amazing from the time I booked and my many changes along the way due to airline changes. After our flight was cancelled and the new flight was delayed, they even stayed after closing which is already 11pm to pick us up. Lovely people and really great car. Thank you!
Flawless dealing with the team! My brother and I rented two cars and both were offered Mitsubishi ASX in perfect condition. Pick up from the airport within a few minutes and paper work didn’t take more than 5 minutes. Amazing experience from the team at YesDrive Hobart. Exceptional customer service through pick up and drop off from the airport. The staff are so friendly and made the whole process stress free. We booked a car with YesDrive for a week while staying in Hobart. When I saw the price difference between the major rental companies and YesDrive, the first thought was "what's the catch?", but there was none Pickup from the airport was straightforward and quick. Nice conversation with the driver who mentioned it was a family business and they were growing quickly. The car was modern and clean. Dropoff was straight forward even with a 6.35am flight out of Hobart. We paid less than half the price of equivalent from the competitors. Hope they keep the personalised service as they expand! Highly recommended.
