We hired a car for 11 days for a recent trip to Tassie. The price was very reasonable and the instructions given to pick up the car from the airport were easy to follow. The original car we hired was making some noise on the brakes, so they upgraded us to a better car with no extra charge, which enabled us to continue to Cradle Mountain with extra peace of mind. Would definitely use Lo-Cost Auto Rent again for my next Tassie trip!

Great business to deal with.  No delays on pickup and easy to return.  The car had seen better days as it was old, but we appreciated the lower cost because of this.  True, it didn't have bluetooth or other more modern facilities, but it was very reliable and handled uphill climbs much better than some newer models from what we were hearing. Thanks Lo-Cost Auto for a trouble free holiday.

Absolutely top notch company to deal with. We hired a car in March for 12 days. They were a pleasure to deal with. Someone backed into our car in a car park in Port Arthur. We rang them immediately to tell them. The damage wasn’t too bad but we felt sure it would be an insurance claim. It was such a nice surprise to receive a call that they were able to buff the damage out. We would definitely recommend this company if you are hiring a car in Tassie.

Great overall experience with Lo-Cost Auto Rent Hobart company. The company representatives were friendly and always ready to assist. Prices were competetive and the car was clean, well maintained. Great friendly service. Much cheaper than any other car hire company in Hobart, but still a brilliant well-maintained car. Easy pick up and drop-off at the airport.

This is the first time we have used ‘Lo cost Auto rent Hobart’ but it won’t be the last! This is now our ‘go to’ car rental company for us when we make frequent trips to Hobart to visit family and just want the convenience of having our own car and doing minimal kms  Cost, booking, pickup and drop off was convenient  , just perfect! Exactly what we had hoped for!  Thankyou team at Lo Cost Auto Rent!

The air conditioning in our rental car was not working and we cannot be driving without AC in the summer heat was not reported by previous drivers. We were stressing out and John resolved the issue quickly by providing a working replacement car asap. We could continue our plans with minimal impact. Great customer service.
