I would give them 0 stars if I could. Extremely poor and fraudulent service. Don't make the mistake we did. Read the contract thoroughly, Make sure you take photos of existing damage as this company is likely to charge you for old damage. Would never use again.

We had booked and paid for our car before reading theses reviews. We were both very worried about what we might get but in the end it was all perfectly fine. We did get an older car that had done 110,000kms and had dents on every panel but it was the cheapest place we could find. We could change our pick up from the airport to the city for no extra charge. We asked for another day, and eventhough the price was higher, they kept the same rate at time of booking. We found the staff to be really helpful and friendly. No fuss service. I'd go back to these guys next time I'm in Hobart.

Van worked fine til last day, when it broke down at 10am on Saturday morning, just when we needed to get to the airport. The number given to us by their rep was unobtainable and the alternative number was an answerphone on which we left six messages. We got no reply so had to leave the van and get a taxi at some expense. The rep at the airport was very sympathetic and explained that the staff in head office were hopeless. She tried to ring them to authorise repaying our taxi fare but had no response but she promised they would email us. To date, despite our emailing them we have heard nothing. So please heed our experience, which fortunately was not whilst we were off in the national park.

Simply awful people work there, the owners grasping and greedy for your money. The daily rate might be at the cheaper end but they will surely sting you for as much as they can get afterwards.
