THIS IS THE WORST CAR RENTAL COMPANY YOU COULD GO TO IN HOBART // 65 argyle st Hobart // they will rip you off and treat you like scum // the woman at the front counter is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met . Their treatment of paying customers is appalling and they should be deeply ashamed of themselves. They need to take a good hard look at who they employ and how they wish their company to be represented. Go next store to the other car rental company and ask for moe, totally professional and will go far and beyond of what he has to do to help anyone out and get you on your way. THRIFTY = PATHETIC DISGUSTING COMPANY - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Leith from Hobart office sent police to my house looking for a STOLEN vehicle, because the call centre says it is OK to bring the car back the next day and they'll just charge it to cc when a terminally ill customer is sick but LEIGH calls it stealing. Then when he gets told I hope you get sick and treated with such lack of compassion... Or your wife does. He calls the cops again and says he is being threatened. Oh and the car LEIGH said was so desperately needed so desperately badly that someone who is terminally I'll gets tackled and handcuffed by police for not returning it on time. Even when call centre said it was sorted

Had to cancel last minute due to infant was sick and couldn't leave the cruise ship. The lady was friendly and they didn't charge a thing. So glad I booked with them. Will definitely make them my first priority choices from now on in car rental.

Google maps still had the old address, so after walking 20mins from North Hobart, I ended up walking an extra 1.2kms. Good walk, however disappointing when one is wanting to pickup a rental car .
