Spoke with Ali at the Hobart TAS branch when I collected the car. He was very friendly, informative and efficient. He made the transaction pleasurable and easy. The service made our day and my partner and I left feeling quite joyous. There are two staff members named Ali, both were fantastic. We don’t know their last names but recall each Ali’s cultural background as we briefly discussed that. Although both were lovely, I’d like to highlight Ali from Nepal sorry for not getting your last name. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Ali Ali behind the desk at Sixt Rentals on 290 Argyle Street Hobart was amazing! We had some issues with the rental because we booked through a third party from San Francisco  and in doing so, nearly lost our reservation. Ali helped us resolve the issue completely which was such a relief ! He was very knowledgeable and has a lovely disposition. Definitely an asset to the company- thank you

Exceptional service by David! He’s very warm and professional. He even suggested us on what we can do around Hobart, which did not disappoint!  Sixt is lucky to have him, he is such an asset to the company! It’s a shame that google only has up to 5 stars option, If only we could give him all the stars in the galaxy!! That’s how much satisfied our whole family was with his service.

Customer oriented business with very nice and helpful staff. We asked the car to be ready an hour earlier and they did it. The car was perfect and they provided child seat as well. While other businesses they were offering more expensive prices, this business they offered very reasonable price with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Really helpful staff - David recommended a vehicle that suited our needs perfectly for the day. Clean car and easy to drive. A good range to choose from too. It was great getting an NRMA discount too.

Overall, a mostly smooth process. I booked online, picked up the car at Hobart airport, returned the rental and got my deposit back within the same week. The only issue i had was problems getting through to them on the phone. I had to ring them up x3 times over varying hours of the day, across 2 days left x3 voice messages until someone got back to me. That was the only disappointing issue i'm raising here. Otherwise, i would use SIXT again in future :

Had booked a RAV 4 Hybrid. Upon collection, we were going to be given something else without an explanation as to why. Then there was an extra charge. When asking why, consultant had advised only that $400 is a deposit will be returned. Realised later $400 was taken as a seperate transaction for the deposit, and we were still paying almost double of what we were supposed to. However, when returning the car, we explained the situation to a different consultant. She reviewed and explained the extra charge was for drivers per day who were under 25. Also explained about why we did not get the original car that was booked. Due to failure to disclose information and miscommunication during the first collection, consultant organised full refund of the extra charge. Unfortunately I did not get her name, but 5/5 for her service. Was on 22/08/22, at 9:30AM. She made the process very easy for us and is the Main reason why this review is a 4/5 and not a 1.

Great rental car agency, it is a good 35 min walk from town so a cab is a good call. David the manager was really helpful and friendly,  great to have a chat with and had great coffee recomendations and the car was perfect for a day out

Robin was excellent, the pickup and drop off smooth and hassle free. Will use Sixt again.
