Convenient location and easy enough to pop into, however the store layout really lets it down. It’s a smaller, long store with only a handful of aisles instead of the usual 10–13 you’d expect in a Woolworths. Because of that, the aisles are extremely long, and you often end up having to walk a mile just to grab one thing from the other end. It makes quick shops frustrating and not very efficient. Not terrible, but definitely not an ideal layout.
So impressed with Clint /Sam and their customer service for Reps. Needed shelf tickets. 4 team members unable to assist, Clint took me to the big boss Sam who sorted it, showed us how for next time, even though not her job either. They are keepers!
Shout out to the two amazing women on front end who helped me when I was having a medical episode this morning while checking out on self serve. They saw I was not feeling my best, kept an eye on me and then rushed in like two angels to help. Letting me sit down, catch my breath and stop myself from passing out, scanned and bagged my groceries for me and made sure I was okay. Thank you so much! I wish I grabbed their name, you have no idea how much the kindness means to me
It’s on the level 1 of The Strand shopping centre. This Woolies is apparently bigger than most of them that even PRIME is available, which can 99% only be seen in convenience stores. There are much more non perishable items such as stationary, plasticware, electrical, tissue, just to name a few.
We were in your store today and used Self Service at 10:34am on Register 12. The older lady who should know better, was so rude. Had her hands on the air pushing us away instead of saying excuse me. Spoke terrible to us as well. I told her what I thought too. She was awful... She needs to be spoken too. Put a friendly young one on. She needs to retire... Won't be back there.
