Consumer service is actually horrible. Went there last night just to be greeted with blank faces. Was told to go around and memorise the barcodes quite rudely for the dried bananas so I could tell the cashier. Not my job. Then as we got to the checkout all the machines “broke” so we were told to wait. 5 minutes goes by of silence and then we decided to go get our food from Miami Marketta, then we come back just to be told by one of the emotionless employees that the registeres were all shut down and we couldn’t purchase our items. So left empty handed. Mind you it was 6:00pm and they close at 7:00pm. We felt rushed the whole time selecting our things I had to ask what time they closed because I thought I was interrupting them. 2 starts because the food and presentation is beautiful. Such a shame it was ruined by the employees and work ethic.
I just spent half an hour selecting my weekly shop and when I went to pay they told me that their system is down. They didn’t think to tell me earlier even though it was obvious no one was going through the tellers,nNot having a back up system is incompetent and shows no understanding of planning for disruptions,nThis place is overpriced, the staff are not well informed about their stock and have generally been unhelpful over the ed time I have shopped here.
Really solid range for the true health conscious. Amazing produce and meat range mostly from Queensland. Extra bonus for the raw bath… milks from both cow and goat. Fantastic snack selection too!
While purchasing hulled millet in store today, the naturopath provided me with clinically incorrect advice regarding diverticulitis.nnI respectfully suggested she update her knowledge based on more recent research. Instead, she dismissed my concern and told me I should “listen to clinical advice,” without even engaging with what I was actually wanting as an outcome with my purchase, rather she made me ‘wrong’.nnThe interaction came across as dismissive and unwilling to consider updated clinical evidence. I stand by my suggestion to her, because inaccurate health advice has the potential to mislead people.
Our go-to for all organic and nutritious food, always easy to get a nice tip from naturopaths in the store! And now we can also enjoy delicious treats and drinks from the cafe!
