Filthy shelves with half eaten food…every visit is the same, no one cleans up.nStaff that works there are all friendly but management has dropped the ball half eaten apple …yuck!!
I visited the store today on the 13th of December. I spoke with the customer service manager Sandy and simply asked for a $10 note as I had coins with me.nnI was calm & respectful about my request & I was met with an Abrupt Response. No we do not do that here. Quite aggressive also.nnThe exchange was not very kind at all. Sandy has been working at this store for years & staff have mentioned to me how disrespectful she is to alot of people who work at the store.nnIt does amaze me, as Sandy who has been working here for years is very disrespectful & rude & is still employed by Wooloworths.nnThere has been other examples too of how I've been treated by her in the past, however it is clear that the management will never do anything about it.nnIn my experience in Retail, I would never treat customers the same way she speaks to them & the staff she works alongside with.nnOvertime when customers continue to have below satisfactory experiences with staff why do they have any reason to return.nnI have been calm & respectful in my dealings with her it's a shame that she is like this towards others.
Rudest staff... i was half served around 5.30pm today in the express lane not self serve, i wasn't asked if I wanted bags, and when I asked she said yeah behind you, than proceeded to tell me to pack the groceries myself. Why is she even there? Probably cause she spent most of her time bitching she had been in the cool room all day. Best place to have her working, as to not interact with customers.
This review is specifically relating to the Woolies bakery and not the store as a whole. This morning 30/11/25 I bought a cinnamon scroll 2 pack. The scrolls had top covered in icing. I have bought it from other Woolies before and it was yummy so I didn't hesitate to buy. Unfortunately, the two cinnamon scrolls from Woolies Oasis I bought this morning we're both stale and not edible even though they presented well. They tasted like cardboard and If I had the time I would have taken them back to the store. I am surprised that they allowed to put stale product on shelf. Not a good practice. Shame on those who allow for this to happen.
