Went to Good Guys in Helensvale today. Had an amazing experience. Dillon? with an awesome beard and glasses took my wife and I to a great deal on a fridge that was just perfect for our needs. Fast, easy and great price! couldn't be more happy with our purchase! We will definitely be coming back for all our house appliances and white wear needs! Thanks guys!
Went to see Matthew V at The Good Guys looking for a new laptop and accessories. His knowledge was amazing, not just in laptops and iPhones but in all the equipment we needed. Being a bit average with IT knowledge Matthew enabled us to confidently purchase the products. No pushy sales tactics and also did incredible deals. Will be going back to him in the future. 5 stars without hesitation.
I made a phone order to The Good Guys for this Chef oven and for a new dishwasher for a rental property. I requested delivery and installation and was quoted over the phone for the two products and installation. I gave my credit card and received email confirmation without issue. I did not realise at the time that the phone salesperson booked only the dishwasher for delivery and installation. A week later the installers brought the dishwasher and installed it without issue, it works fine. They asked where the oven was and I was confused that they didn't have it with them. They informed me they didn't have the oven and that they'd need to re-book to install it, which we did. The installers then called me at a closer date asking if I had the oven delivered as they weren't paid to deliver it, only install it. I then called the Good Guys main call centre, where they informed me that the oven was ready and was at the Helensvale branch, that I would need to call them. I called Helensvale and they found the oven and quoted an additional $50 for delivery. I refused given that I had asked to be quoted delivery and installation and did not agree with a business practice of quoting a price for a service and then demanding more money later when that service is requested. The salesperson from Helensvale tried to put me through to their manager, and the phone dropped out. I tried to call back twice and couldn't get through. I then re-called the head office and made it clear I was getting extremely frustrated and would like the oven to be delivered, and they were happy to do this. The oven was delivered the next day and then installed a week later. One week after installation I have been informed by my tenant that the oven does not work. It will not turn on or heat up. I am currently overseas so I have emailed the Helensvale branch, who have not responded after 5 business days.
Paid for Gold Service Concierge service only to have a faulty laptop lost by Helensvale store for over 2 weeks, then when found the laptop in flat and was sitting on a shelf with no paperwork or identification. Only found by a 3rd staff member who noticed our charger with our personal label sticker on it. Store Manager Col refused to call return my call or reply email during the 3 days the store realised the laptop was lost. I am not confident the repair has been carried out or that the laptop has been safe during the 2 weeks it was lost. It could of been dropped and as the store wants to return the laptop to me with an uncharged battery, I have no idea of the working condition. Fair and reasonable customer service is expected,but Glenda the other Manager advised that Store Manager will not email me as he does not have it. Extremely disappointed with the Helensvale Store staff and paid for, Concierge Gold Service! Go to another store.
Went to this store on Saturday 17th December 2022 at approximately 11am, I knew what I wanted, I grabbed it, I waited a few minutes to get some assistance as the the bald headed staff member appeared to be having a conversation with another customer. It appeared that I was bothering the staff member by standing there quietly and patiently waiting, so he paused his conversation to serve me, I told him that I had a commercial account and as soon as I said that he quickly responded with "I can't help you, you have to login and purchase it online" he then turned around and continued his conversation without any care or help. I have purchased multiple items from other stores with my commercial account and never had a issue, this total arrogance and zero people skills is not acceptable. I will never return to this store and I would never recommend this store, even to my worst enemy, Thank you for wasting my time
I followed instructions given exactly when purchasing a washing machine in store to get the $50 cash back and after multiple store visits and calls to different departments, no cash back. They should be training their staff with enough knowledge to at least explain how to use the offers they are advertising.
The good thing is that you have a shop to walk into to see the product before you buy. Unfortunately sales staff lied about a promotion for storecash during the transaction and im now finding out more than a month later. The electricians they arranged to send to our house to install an oven and stove also seemed stressed and flustered by the job, as the stove wouldn't turn on. Because he seemed so challenged I tried to help but I cut up my fingers on the metal of the oven in the process. Eventually they left with neither properly installed and the job was completed on a different day. Unfortunately neither of the 60cm stove or oven fit our 60cm holes in the bench or cabinet which only added to the stress, in the end I had to call someone else to finish the job.
When I purchased a Vax premium carpet cleaner and enquired about the bonus 1ltr carpet solution on offer on their website, I was made to feel cheap when I was asked to place my own phone down on the counter, so that the store manager could verify the deal. I feel that the store manager should have used his own phone to do this, and what's more, should have known what offers were available in his store. After this was settled,beit not very friendly, the person finalising the transaction, just threw the receipt on the counter. So I wouldn't recommend using this store and I personally will never shop there again.
Do not recommend buying an LG product from this store, an absolute nightmare to deal with in regard to our warranty claim. Have been given the run around between LG and this store and we will be over a week without a fridge. Extremely disappointed with the product and the lack of support from the store!
its a worst experience ever i had with good guys , the salesperson lying with delivery status and i bought the item from them still i did not get my product it's been one and half month and still i did not get the valid reason that why its been late , same product i can get from JBHIFI and still they told me we are facing problem with stock and BLAA BLAA , I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON !!!!!! NEVER GO IN GOOD GUYS
