This lounge is not my first purchase from James Lane but it has sure been the worst. From rude staff who didn't treat me like an actual customer until they saw my purchase history, forgetting to take the deposit off the invoice, to calling customer service to get the refund processed, to then 2 days later having someone else from customer service call to ask for my credit card details again, to these broken, cracked and unfinished feet for a $2.5k lounge. "we are committed to making world-class design affordable without ever compromising on quality, materials or construction" from your website, I wouldn't agree, would you?
Had a lovely lady assisted me when we purchased my bed head. But wasn’t informed they don’t do transferred anymore from Brisbane. Got informed that, my bed head will be in store by Thursday last week, wasn’t until I called the store to check why I haven’t heard anything from them. Spoked with the store manager and she confirm they don’t do transfer anymore, that apparently the lady assisted us had been naughty to offer this. Make the story short she wasn’t impressed with the staff that assisted me asked me to collect the bed head as soon as it arrived as apparently they have no space to keep a 3meter king bed head. Finally today they called that the bed head arrived and needs to get picked up asap. The store manager told me over the phone last time we spiked they can help with delivery before bed head arrived and I told her we have a van to collect. She told me over the phone they can help to us to carry the bed head into the car. To my surprised my partner collected the bed and he said the lady was very rude to him didn’t even help to carry the 3meter bed head to our van but just been rude to him. And apparently they do not carry furnitures. Very disappointing service! Won’t be shopping to this shop ever again. I worked in retail for so long and I know how to go extra mile and provide a good costumer service.
I have purchased a few things now from James Lane Helensvale and the staff have always been helpful and very easy to deal with, they don’t hassle you soon as you walk in the doors, the furniture we have bought are amazing.
Easy parking directly outside the front of store. Once inside there was a wide variety of furniture, something for most tastes and good prices. Tanya and her team were all very friendly, personable and not at all 'pushy' for a sale. Shopping in store, also allowed us to physically inspect the quality of the furnishings and they even offered a discount on the advertised price, something you don't get online shopping. Looking forward to the delayed delivery as the stock arrives, but if it's as good as the stores service and displays, we'll be very pleased. As first time James Lane customers, the whole experience has been impressive!
Sales people lie to get sales , furniture takes weeks to arrive only for it to be damaged. Manger was amazing but then sent us to acc team who lied again telling us processed same day and takes 2 days to appear in acc with confirmation email being sent. No email rang back up to then be told another 5 days for processing Etc. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone , dead along purchasing stuff from them.
Tanya at Helensvale has always been amazing to deal with, very helpful, friendly and fun. Her and the rest of the team are great and I’ll continue going back. Keep up the great work

Fabulous experience with Tanya from the Helensvale Branch after a glitch with an online order, where I received incomplete parts and incorrect assembly instructions. In the space of a couple of days Tanya has arranged pick up of the original item and delivery and assembly of the new. Look online all you like but when you're ready to purchase, get in touch with the team at Helensvale and they'll look after you wonderfully. Thanks so much Tanya Andrew
The staff have been incredibly helpful throughout the whole experience and did everything they could to expedite receiving our purchases. Very grateful for all their help
Not only is my bed 2 days late on its delivery after the truck driver called saying he'd have it to me "in 10 minutes" and then went missing, and nobody from the workplace could get hold of him apparently - but now two days later they don't even know when I'll have it. Worst purchasing experience I have ever had.
