Established in 1993 Hasl are highly experienced craftspeople who create and deliver iconic kitchen, bathroom and home renovations.

Story

Hasl (formerly Kitchens Plus Bathrooms And Tiles P/L) are interior renovators; designing and delivering iconic kitchen, bathroom, laundry and unit renovations to the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

The Hasl team bring years of experience and a passion for bringing beauty, value and design to the spaces you love. Our team recognises that you do not have a house, you have a home - the place where you and your family belong. The Hasl design philosophy is guided by the flow and function of your space and how your family uses it.

The Hasl team is lead by principal, Chris Hassell.

We would definitely recommend Hasl for your renovations! The craftmanship of all the specialised tradesmen, under the direction of the Site Manager, Bradley, was of a very high standard. We had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen renovated with internal & external walls, doors & windows re-moved and re-designed. The finished renovation of our home does not look like a renovation! it looks amazing, better than we dreamed! All the tradesmen were also friendly & respectful that we lived in the house during the renovation, always cleaning up every afternoon to ensure our evening was comfortable. It is worth your while visiting the very stylish showroom of Hasl and having a chat with Chris, the owner & his professional team.
The team at Hasl provided a great design as a starting point, thinking outside of the box by relocating the kitchen. The trades they brought in to complete the work were very professional and happy to answer any questions. Once the work started it was completed very quickly, no problems at all.
The finished product was exactly what we wanted and beautiful finished. The work men were very professional and easy to work with. We are very happy with our new kitchen.
Working with Chris and Paul and their team of craftspeople and office staff to create my beautiful new kitchen was super good. They did what they promised and more - attending to the little things before I asked. I will continue to recommend hasl haus, they were terrific, completely organised, skilled and creative. Thankyou!
Here's a selection of before and after shots as proof of how extensive our renovation was and what a difference it made. We had great advice from all the team, from design, to demolition, building and finishing. We were honestly told what would work and what wouldn't without judgement. We were given realistic deadlines which were kept and we were updated regularly. We started with a house past its best. Hasl handed us back a home. Thanks Gui, Lee, Calvin, Mark, Wayne, Danny, and all the team.
We had a almost! full house renovation by Hasl House in 2018. Now, more than a year on, I can say we are as happy with our reno as we were on completion. More so if this is possible, because each day we appreciate more how this renovation has changed our life - not just the physical appearance of our house but our whole lifestyle. Coming home now is like coming home to a "hug"; our home is a calm and inviting place that mentally restores us - the design and changes proposed and implemented by Hasl perfectly reflect the brief we provided them of a low stimulus marriage of form and function environment that we would love to be in. There is nowhere else we would rather be than our incredible Hasl House. Service and execution were 5 star.
We have used Hasl Haus for three seperate renovations and keep coming back. The latest renovation which was our laundry, powder room and bathroom went reasonably smoothly. Covid and the flooding caused only minimal delays. Chris is an amazing designer. We love how Chris listened to us and provided us practical, yet luxurious looking solutions to suite our budget. He ensured the design provided a seamless look and compliment our previous renovations right down to the door handles and toilet roll holders. Our renovation wasn’t straight forward as it involved moving walls and working around immovable pipes. There were a few challenges which were identified and possible solutions discussed with us immediately. They gave us choices and genuinely cared about working within our budget. Their attention to detail is second to none! Chris has picked a great team! We have no hesitation in recommending Hasl to anyone. We loved that that Hasl Team in particular Dave, Ollie, and their two young demo guys sorry I can’t remember their names really cared about their work and did everything they could to make our life easy during the renovations. Our dog Delphi has a crush on Dave Simon and his electrical team were professional, efficient, tidy and polite despite their team going through a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble. Dianne cleaner Johnson plaster Joe & teamtilers, and Mike painter were also a pleasure to have in our home. So too were the tile removers, plumbers, stone guys and shower screen installers.. The only negative feedback I have about the whole project is that the plumber needed to learn to tidy up after himself, not leave it for others in the team. That said he was very polite and friendly. I was so impressed that every afternoon before leaving most of the team, vacuumed or swept up and made sure the renovations had a minimal impact on our home. The project manager, Brad listened to us, acted on our feedback, acknowledged and accommodated my communication needs when I was clear on what we/I needed to be able to continue to work from home while Renovations were under way. We appreciate this greatly. Our ensuite still looks as good as the day it was installed seven years ago. Six years on we still receive comments about how amazing our kitchen looks. I’m sad that we may not get an opportunity to work with Hasl again anytime soon. Thank you Chris & team. We appreciate your work and it’s been a pleasure partnering with you in improving our home
