Initially when going in they were super helpful and friendly. I had to get some replacement blinds. I was told about a week for my blades to be ready to be picked up and they will do their best to get the colour right they will call when they’re in The receptionist was so friendly. The week goes by and I allow another week to go by to not be pushy as I understand transit times etc. So, I call to follow up saying it’s been much longer than informed and if the order isn’t in/close I’d like to cancel it and get my money back, this time taking to a man not the same friendly receptionist. At this point he was extremely rude and didn’t even have enough care to listen say my name correctly it isn’t hard. Giving an excuse that ‘the receptionist girls are sick’. Then saying he doesn’t think cancel/refund was going to happen and he will call me back when he can find them. When he calls me back, he proceeds to tell me that the blind are there awesome! Some relief. Further extending they have been there for about a week. I say how that isn’t really good enough they said they would call and I’ve been waiting; he then tells me he won’t argue with me, they are here and there isn’t a ‘worry in the world’ and how nothing was stopping me from calling them to chase up my order. Sorry it’s my understanding when I pay and place an order it’s the companies responsibility to call me telling me my blinds are in, I’m not going to call everyday to check. We move past this, I go in to get the blinds and try to just ignore how I was treated day before. Blinds were a blue colour not a grey but sure to not have a fight ‘close enough’. I’m already pretty angry at this whole process, waste of money and time. I have never had someone where I’m spending my hard earned money talk to me with such patronisation and rudeness. Further more on my way home yesterday I had an Axen blinds car speed past and cut me off in traffic don’t know who was driving. Really good way to advertise your awesome business. I do not recommend this company in the slightest, your money is of more value ANYWHERE else.
Absolutely atrocious!!!!! Paid a deposit to be told 3 months later that he is selling the company and my blind is in despite with the new so called owner. He swore at me and suggested I try to get my deposit back through the bank. Do not touch this company with a very long barge pole. !!!!! BEWARE !!!!!
I would like to thank the team at Axen Blinds. I have had a number of jobs done with them and always found them to be very professional from start to finish.
