After recently relocating from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast i was in need of updating my outdoor space. The Furniture Shack was a standout for style, quality, great range and pricing. The staff were friendly and i was impressed with their depth of product knowledge even down to the help of styling Outdoor Cushions and Accessories to compliment my new furniture. I love my outdoor area thanks to The Furniture Shack!!!

Great store with outstanding customer service and friendly staff. As an incredibly happy customer I would recommend The Furniture Shack to anyone looking to update their outdoor/alfresco space. You will always find something new here and they will work out a package deal to suit anyone's price range. The styles are so unique and always changing which I think is what makes this place stand out. Oh and their artwork collections are amazing!!

Love this shop! I have been buying from The Furniture Shack for years- the after sale service is second to none. The time and patience they give to customers is a breathe of fresh air compared with their competition. Highly recommend Bianca and the team at the sunny coast. Thank you Furniture Shack for being unique  and having great quality products. Your range of outdoor furniture is different to everywhere else, and I love that.  You always seems to be on trend, in stock and reasonably priced.  I have bought dining chairs, an outdoor lounge suite, paintings, homewares and artificial plants and flowers from you and I've been happy with every purchase. Also, your staff are exceptionally warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Keep it up!  I will be back.

Their warranty is not worth anything.  We were sold Alfresco furniture and had totally explained the environment; undercover terrace, protected on all but one side, which gets a bit of sun each day.  The Atlanta Outdoor Lounge we liked was sold to us as being totally suitable for the situation. It's a lovely looking suite and not exactly cheap, so we trusted the advice we were given and purchased.  Not 6 months later, the paint on the coffee table started to drastically deteriorate, which we immediately reported, including photos. It took several attempts by email and phone to finally get a response from the owner.  Long and short of this saga is that we were told the problem was caused by exposure.  Not possible, because the two sofas, with same exposure were not showing signs of deterioration. Due to an impending overseas trip, we gave them one last chance to do the right thing or would be forced to take legal action upon our return.  The coffee table was not fit for purpose - has a shoddy paint job.  Oh yes,  once we reported the situation, we were also told that we should have bought some covers and put these on. A) we had not been offered this at the time of purchase and b) if we had, we would not have bought this suite, as who in their right mind would want to put covers on (and off) after ever use, when it's used every day and is under cover?  We even moved the furniture against a wall and covered completely with a large tarp when a storm was forecast.  The Atlanta suite is advertised as Al Fresco furniture but is obviously not fit for purpose!  Having had a very stressful year, we decided after returning from overseas, not to put ourselves through further stress and get into a legal battle, even though we had been advised we were very likely to win the dispute.  We're not saying that the products are generally not good but the Atlanta Suite (at least the coffee table on this occasion) was not Alfresco quality.  We were within our warranty period and the owner decided he couldn't be bothered taking it up with his supplier and did not replace the table.  When one spends around $4,000 for quality al fresco furniture one expects it to last longer than 6 months!  The girls in the store are lovely but have no power to do the right thing even when they wanted to.  It could well be that the coffee table is just a one-off bad paint job but this whole situation should have been handled in the appropriate manner. We certainly won't be going back and have naturally warned others about how this warranty case was handled  Be careful.
