Wish we found this place when our twin boys were younger! They sell good value toy vehicles here which would last from baby age to school age. Staff are knowledgeable and are friendly to kids. Now we gotta save money to buy for their Christmas
Harriet and Matt offer amazing customer service, detailed product knowledge and thorough scooter and bike repairs. They really go above and beyond! I have bought 4 scooters and numerous other bits and bobs over the years and recommend this store to friends and family who are looking to find a scooter or bike for themselves or their children, especially each Christmas. These scooter and bikes are really worth the investment and each one I have bought has lasted constant use and then been passed down as each child has grown out of them. Harriet and Matt always have a smile and are great with children and I highly reccomend this store!
We absolutely LOVE our regular visits to Spin at South Melbourne Markets, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Their attention to detail about finding the right product is second to none. They know their stuff! Our first purchase was a Mini Micro Scooter for our daughter and she loves it! If you’re in the market pun intended to get a scooter for your little one, avoid getting it online and get into the shop, let them show you how to use it, and teach your child one on one by letting them have a go as well, it’s such a better experience than hitting the “Add to Cart” button online. It pays to buy local and our daughter asks to visit Harriet & Matt at Spin every time we go to the markets such a great experience to teach her about kindness and community. We will definitely be back for our next scooter/bike purchase that’s for sure. You’re doing an amazing job Harriet & Matt, the Spin Team
We bought a few different amazing items at their South Melbourne and Elwood store in the past couple of years and the quality and customer service have been great and consistent . They have the best brands when it comes to kids bikes, helmets, wooden toys, scooters and more... Could not recommend this place more. Thanks Harriet. You are going to make my little daughter's birthday very special this week with her new pink Lekker bike!
I got my bicycle from here as a gift and it is now my favorite thing in the world! Matt and Harriet are really love people and they genuinely want to help all their customers. The bicycles and other accessories are not only cute but also have such high quality. If I could give more than 5 stars I would !
Harriette was amazing, really enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about which bike would be best for our toddler. Loved the experience and will definitely go back when our second child is old enough! We bought a Wishbone 3 in 1 Bike - Recycled Edition and couldn't be happier with it.
WOW what a wonderful experience! I called to order a balance bike for my granddaughters 1st birthday on the weekend yes cutting it fine and Harriet was amazing and went way above and beyond. Not only did she arrange payment over the phone, she is also delivering the bike to my workplace as I don't finish until after Spin closes. I can't express my thanks enough and will highly recommend you to all my friends. It's great to see a small business with such high standards, keep up the amazing job Spin team!
I popped in yesterday with a broken bike seat. The super friendly and helpful staff didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, but fitted a temporary replacement for free. A heart-warming Easter Sunday experience. Will pop back in for sure, genuinely good crew and sweet stock. FIVE
This is the BEST shop we have visited in MANY MANY YEARS. Let me tell you about it. Sure, you can go to Chadstone to spend thousands on a designer bag or enjoy a lavish afternoon at Crown. BUT, those superficial things fade away. Here at SPIN, we have found joy in the simplest form. Every single toy has been carefully selected and presented to suit children of all age groups....the little wooden truck, the balancing board and even the bicycle bells, they look so ordinary YET they are so magical that they kept our little one 3yo fully occupied for a long time and quiet, thank god. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the friendly staffs are EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and were able to give us some really handy advice e.g. how to set up our place space at home with existing toys, what type of toys would suit our girl and how to motivate her to try new things. We are going to set up our place space at home this weekend, and our little one can't wait to see that happen... God, we just love this shop!
Bought a skateboard for my friends son, Matt was super helpful and joyful. Will be back to purchase more soon, pinned as my favourite gift shop.
