Was booked in for as service today and I arrived around 8am. I must admit, I wasn’t in the best of moods soon after arrival but that was only initiated by the lack of acknowledgment when I walked in to the service counter. I personally had to initiate my presence as i was in quite a rush to get in and get out with little fuss- otherwise, who knows how long I would have been kept waiting. But once that was established, I was dealt with in a professional manner. I was put to ease and felt as though I really was cared for. I was given a loan car, which was free of charge. All I had to do was top up the fuel on my return- something that I did not do as I was pressed for time. I offered to pay the balance in fuel but the crew behind the counter told me not to worry about it. All in all, and only after my first 5 minutes in store, I really did feel as if I was part of the VW family.
Had my 2006 Tourag serviced for 195000km. Team were able to recommend some good solutions for aging parts struts/ joint seals that saved on overall pricing. Car detailing is fantastic and a bit of a bonus these days after a vehicle service.
They took my car for a week, during which we had very little communication, before getting sent a ridiculous quote 4 days in. Received the car, worked well for 2 days, back to what it was like before, but a little bit worse. Not only that, but fuel consumption has almost doubled. They refused to take responsibility as ‘that has nothing to do with the plugs’. The spark plugs and coils I had replaced were much higher quality, and $200 cheaper. This place is a big rip off, they will lie and throw in ridiculous charges just to squeeze as much money out of you possible. In short, payed $1,800 and went without a car for a week to get it back in an even worse state. Yes, it took them a week to replace my plugs and coils, and run a compression test.
Arrived but my job card had not been printed for some reason so i was a little concerned. No problems said the staff member, and I went away with a question mark in my mind. A short while later was called re my issue being found and a part was available. Expected to be fixed early afternoon. Went in at 4 and car not there, but when it arrived it was all beautiful and clean. Very happy. Exceeded my expectations.
60k service on my Tiguan and all good, they rectified a very annoying and persistent rattle coming from the driver knee airbag area and are sorting out a warranty repair on the thermostat and water pump. All good so far and no complaints, efficient and friendly.
Always been happy with the service here over the last 4 years. Ajay has been very thorough with all my vehicle issues. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here.
I purchased my Amarok new from here but there is another VW Service Centre about 6k’s from my place but I prefer to come here about 40k’s from home due to the way I’m treated at Southside. They truly make my custom feel valued and treat you more like a returning friend than just another customer. Well done guys. Regards Peter
I had a problem with my Amarok and contacted Kevin Shih. I explained that in a few days time the vehicle was going to be the support vehicle for a school camp arriving from Broome. The matter needed to be urgently resolved. Even though Southside was fully booked, Kevin managed to resolve the issue by the next day. Excellent customer service by Kevin. Our Southside VW service on 18/12/22 was of the high quality one expects from VW - both the service and customer assistance. Kevin, our main point of reference, was very helpful and further assisted me with an App navigation issue Thai I had been experiencing in my T-Cross. .. On thé return home we felt that we were driving in a new, rather than a 1 year old car. Thank you Southside
Messed up my service booking on several occasions, wrong parts had been ordered and jobs were half completed requiring additional bookings. Quoted three times more than my local mechanic who specialises in European Cars to replace the ignition. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. EJay is an absolute scammer. Go somewhere else.
