I bought my first car from lawrence st james auto trader but its my big mistake. Lots of problems on it. Worst experiences in my life. Hope you guys do not repeat it.

Having never bought a car from a used car dealership before, I was a little sceptical that I would find the car I was after. I was half expecting the stereotype used car salesman to come out and convince us to buy the "lemon" of the day! Nope! Nothing of the sort. We were greeted by Lawrence with his cheerful smile and laid back manner. I ended up buying a car that I am extremely happy with. There were a couple of minor issues that had developed with the car, that Lawrence took care of promptly and without any drama. Excellent car. Excellent price. Excellent customer service.
I bought a vehicle from this dealership on February 15, 2020. According to the seller, a complete check-up had already been done on the vehicle. The first problem was that the radio was not working and to my great amazement the seller was unable to solve the problem. At the time of purchase the interior of the vehicle was not really clean. Less than a month after, the ABS warning light appeared and two days after the transmission light appeared. I went to a garage to have the vehicle examined and to my surprise the transmission had to be changed. I think I bought the vehicle with the transmission defected... If you wish to buy in this dealership, I advise you to do an expertise before buying because the honesty and professionalism in this dealership leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately, I didn't check the comments on Google and I trust the dealer I am French and I don't know anything about cars... Cheers.
I bouqht a car from Lawrence last week, it was a good price, he made sure it was running well and was honest and fair in his trading. I would recommend his business to anyone looking for a reliable car. He was pleasant to deal with and very professional. My car is a good little runner perfect for what I need.
Honest and practical. I didnt buy a car there, but two friends of mine did and other people i know as well. None of them has any trouble. Lawrence is a great advisor, if you are a backpacker and you are looking for a car to go south, and you dont have much clue about cars as my case, i recomend that you go there knowing your budget and he will try to give you what you need for that. In my case, i didnt buy a car because i wanted a van and he didnt have one. Anyway he advise me about diferents brands and small things to check, and offered me to take the van i wanted there before spending money so he can can do a quick engine check. And he did it, without charging me. Great guy, i recomend it.
Couldn't recommend Lawrence enough! We traded in our car July last year which he was so helpful about doing and getting us a 7 seater for our growing family! Have had the car for over six months with no problems at all! Also recommended my MIL to them who traded in her car to down grade to a smaller car he went above and beyond to make sure she was happy with what she drove away in! Aircon didn't work to begin with and wasn't covered under warranty so Lawrence paid for the aircon to be fixed as he promised it would get sorted! Also recommended another friend there who he went above and beyond to find them a certain csr type they were looking for and they are also very pleased!!!! Awesome company awesome cars and awesome people!
The owner does not know how to deal or respect people and thinks only of his own profit, he must never have heard of customer service. He thinks he is better than the others and has no idea of ​​the car trade. Poor old man, if he doesn't lie to you, he'll start disrespecting you. That person must be weeding a piece of land and not wanting to be a seller. Cars falling apart and him trying to trick you. Go and study that life improves my dear ... Next to it, there is a really professional team to help you when buying a car.
The guy which is running this Business Laurence is super friendly and helpful and is dealing very honest and even If you don’t buy a car of him he is helping you out with informations or checking different cars. Never felt more comfortable at another dealer‘s place ! *Highly recommendation*
