As a Platinum Accor member, I was thrilled to be upgraded to a superb suite. The king-size bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, immaculate, and offered stunning ocean views from the balcony. Every morning, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as part of our membership, and the buffet was outstanding, with a variety of options to suit all dietary preferences.nnThe reception and hotel staff consistently provided pleasant and helpful service throughout our stay. The hotel's location is ideal, just a short stroll to the beach, local restaurants, and a 10-minute walk to Pacific Fair mall. Our four-day stay was a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our visit unforgettable—we'll definitely be back!
We travelled to the Gold Coast for our wedding week, deciding to stay at your hotel, the hotel we first stayed at when we visited the Gold Coast years ago together. This time however, we also recommended our families to stay with us.nThe stay was brilliant, it did not disappoint. We were met with bubbles on entry and had some special surprises in our room to celebrate our occasion for visiting. The staff were so kind and gave the best treatment to our parents while they stayed at the hotel.nThe front service desk member, believe it was Michael, he was from the USA like my wife’s parents and was an absolute credit to your brand. He went truly above and beyond to make them welcome, giving his best service and recommendations while they stayed at your hotel.nThank you Sofitel for the memories and treasured hospitality. Not only did you provide us with an excellent location and comfortable stay but you recognized the importance of our visit.
Recently spent 5 nights at this hotel and the experience was not great. Here's what I love and hate about the hotel.nnPros:nGreat location and access to the beachnWalking distance to a number for food places around the hotel.nThere's a mall behind the hotel too.nGeneral amenities in the room was good too.nHousekeeping is fast and room is always done up nicely.nnCons:nGeneral decor of the room looks very dated.nNo drinking water supplied. No bottled water in room, and they keep the water at the lobby after certain hours.nBAD soundproofing, its noisy with construction work ongoing the whole day and yes, you can hear it with balcony doors closed.nnThoughts.. some work is required to make the stay more pleasant. Didnt quite live up to the sofitel brand in my opinion.
I have loved my Sofitel experience in other countries and locations but perhaps not as much for the Sofitel at Broadbeach. The service is okay but its the quality of the hotel, its outdated, the furniture in the rooms are outdated, the carpets were extremely dusty triggering my nose through the stay, the gym was shameful in size and relevance. Its about time Sofitel spends some money refreshing their Broadbeach hotel. One thing is certain - I will not be staying there for future conferences till someone tells me that its been updated. And I will not be advocating for my company staff and peers to stay there either.
Nice rooms. Nice views. Great location. Parking easy and not stupid tight like some. Friendly service. Only down is having all the noise at night over the weekend. Breakfast was great. Pools area is nice. Spa could've been warmer. Was probably only about 32 degrees. TV has sports channels. Heaps of eating places right below you. We had a great stay and would stay again as long as you don't want to go to sleep too early
