Overall a great stay. Rooms need refurbishment however.nBistro on 3 breakfasts and dinners were awesome.nPools are great.nLocation to beach and shops is great.nOnly complaint is waiting for deposit balance refund to show on my credit card. It would be better to hold a value on a card and then release that on checkout to pay for only what we used.

while the staff was lovely and the environment welcoming, the hotel itself did not live up to the Sofitel brand. The decor is outdated, and the rooms are minimally furnished. The mattresses are extremely old and soft, causing you to roll into the middle of the bed—leading to a post-stay chiropractor visit. Despite the great location, the windows need double glazing as you can hear all the outside noise. Overall, not a 5-star experience, more like a 4-star hotel.

As a Platinum Accor member, I was thrilled to be upgraded to a superb suite. The king-size bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, immaculate, and offered stunning ocean views from the balcony. Every morning, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as part of our membership, and the buffet was outstanding, with a variety of options to suit all dietary preferences.nnThe reception and hotel staff consistently provided pleasant and helpful service throughout our stay. The hotel's location is ideal, just a short stroll to the beach, local restaurants, and a 10-minute walk to Pacific Fair mall. Our four-day stay was a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our visit unforgettable—we'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay here, amazing location right in the heart of Broadbeach. All the staff were lovely and the foyer of the hotel is also really nice. The beds however were very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The rooms and bathrooms are rather dated, we did ask for more pillows to be brought up to the room which they did. The lifts are also very old and slow. Overall it was a great holiday

Had a great stay at Sofitel. We had an issue with our A/C in our room. I reached out to the staff around 10:00pm and we were relocated into another room with the A/C working by 10:30pm. Absolutely amazing service and fast response. Will definitely be back!
