I have been experiencing The Star ever since I came to Australia after my marriage seven years ago, and it holds all my emotions throughout this journey. I first visited wearing my red bangles, then during pregnancy, and now with my daughter — and it has never disappointed. Staying at The Star is not just accommodation; it is an emotion and an experience in itself.nnDuring my recent stay, I did miss the beautiful Christmas tree they used to put up, where guests could write their wishes. However, the staff were so friendly and cheerful, and the swimming pool setup was wonderfully child‑friendly. The team showed great respect and hospitality, making our stay truly memorable.nnThank you to the kind and welcoming staff for continuing to make The Star such a special place.

We stayed in a room as a family of 4 and this was too small.  The hotel booking staff should not have reccomended this room as it was extremely small. By the time we opened our two luggages,  there was no room to walk around. One tiny ensuite. Not enough hangers.  Extremely poor insulation as we could hear everything from people above us screaming kids etc.  Housekeeping staff nice helpful but were not consistent when doing rooms. Some didn't empty bin in room, left it full.  Some didn't replace toilet paper,  left half a roll. Some didn't provide enough towels. For 4 people there should have been 4 towels and 4 face washers, hand towels. Had to constantly call to get issue fixed,  which was fixed immediately. No vacuuming at all!  Concierge staff were helpful, except one guy that told us the scenic route to walk to beach... parking was very convenient.  Happy with stay  but would've been better in residence room for family of four plus.

I visited this casino three times this year, and each experience was disappointing.nnThe drinks are consistently poor — flat soda water, limes not squeezed, and cocktails often made incorrectly my friend had hers remade twice. Bar staff are slow, and at the Atrium Bar the same songs play on repeat. Expect to line up for close to an hour just to get a drink.nnSaturdays are the worst. Weekdays have no vibe at all.nnI’ve eaten at all the restaurants and have never had a meal I enjoyed. The food is terrible across the board.nnI will never go back, nor will I stay there again.nnIf you happen to win money and are considered “too lucky,” they may withdraw your licence to enter and ask you not to return — meaning even a winning night can turn into a bad one.nnI genuinely hope the venue changes ownership. The current owners have ruined what could have been a great place.nnBe very careful here.nnNo free parking either so location gets 1 star from mennIf I could give 1 star I would.

nWe stayed one night at this hotel and absolutely loved it! Our room had a stunning river view — so beautiful and relaxing. The room service was excellent, and the whole hotel had a very elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The pool, with its warm water and amazing view, was a highlight of our stay. Everything felt truly luxurious. I was very satisfied with our experience and will definitely choose The Star hotels again in the future!
