Didn’t stay here, but have visited on numerous occasions: mainly the sports bar, Atrium Bar and gaming areas.nnAlthough I’m sure the owners would prefer it was full all the time, I have to say it’s a little better now than it was on Saturday nights a couple of years ago when it would get disgustingly overcrowded. Bar service was awful then, as were the state of the toilets and what went on inside them. Thank goodness that has improved.nnThe facilities at the sports bar are pretty good, however they could do better with the spread of live matches on simultaneously. NRL taking precedence is fine - despite there appearing to be more AFL followers present - but at least dedicate a couple of the smaller screens to the alternatives, rather than just one. Either way, the sound commentary is way too loud.nA workable option is to go out in the smokers’ area, hoping it’s not too chilly!nnWhile it’s great that you have a promotion on Hahn schooners at present, there’s no point advertising it if you’ve run out of product!nAtrium is okay, but again it can easily become overcrowded, as it’s not a big area, so it’s hard to find a seat.nnPerhaps the biggest turn-off about the complex is that it is so problematic for visitors that to cross the road from where they might be staying in Broadbeach.nManagement could do well to negotiate with local government to sort something out so that people don’t have to spend so long staring at Gold Coast Highway whilst waiting to be able to walk across it.nThis makes the smaller venues more attractive as options.

Had a really nice time at The Star Gold Coast. The place has a great atmosphere, especially in the evening when everything is lit up and buzzing. We grabbed some food, had a wander around and enjoyed the overall vibe. The staff were friendly and everything felt clean and well looked after. It was busy, but that actually added to the atmosphere. A good spot for a night out on the Gold Coast — would definitely come back.

Really well run and friendly staff from top to bottom.nThe view from my windrow was amazing too!nnI was very late for dinner so ended up in the restaurant in the Casino, which was great and was vegan and Gf friendly. Best lentil burger on gf bun and chips I'd ever eaten!! That was a pleasant surprise

It was great. We went to see a concert, and as I walk with a stick was wary of the stairs in the theatre. The staff couldn't be more kind and helpful.  They sent Keith,  a concierge, up with a wheelchair, and used the service lift to get us to our seats. He was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was immaculately presented and luxurious. All in all a great couple of days. The rest of the staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Easy parking with absolutely no issues.nThe gaming room is awesome — there’s so much to choose from, from table games to pokies, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There are several bars around the venue too, so it’s always easy to grab a drink without having to go far. Outside the gaming area there’s a great selection of restaurants. I strongly recommend Kiyomi — absolutely fantastic! And definitely check out Vivo as well; they make some of the best pizzas Great atmosphere, plenty of choices for food, drinks and entertainment. Definitely worth a visit!
