It's a happy & friendly place to enjoy a meal or just a drink. And you can count on the staff making you always feel welcomed. I have enjoyed it there for many years, it's a place you keep on going to time after time. And the meals are most enjoyable & also the catering staff. Friendly people who really make a difference to your day feeling special. I love going to the Royal Mail Hotel. And l always have done cos even when I'm feeling down, l leave with a smile on my face

Four stars for the food which was quite good but the place lacks ambience. Some.music in the background would have been nice.

Just simply,  Good honest regional pub !  Good meals either side of the menu , Quality cold beer , Great  Patrons & Staff in the Bar . Even if they barrack for Richmond  ,  Quietly impressed how humble the tigers were with thier Premiership.  Good onya's . I  just like the place wish I could visit more frequently.
