Irish Murphy’s is located in historical Sturt Street in the heart of Ballarat. Open 7 days a week, the Bar offers a wide variety of craft, international and local beers as well as a selection of wines and ciders. Our Kitchen is open from 11:30 am – 2 pm for lunch and 6 pm – 9 pm for dinner every day serving hearty Irish fare, traditional pub classics and specialty dishes and our popular Parma night on Wednesdays.

Sadly, our latest visit to Irish was a disappointment. Whilst I can't fault the staff for friendliness, I can and will find fault with management for not ensuring there were enough staff to cope with two large, booked groups of guests. People in our group were waiting up to two hours for their meals. Several people...not of our group...walked out after demanding a refund an hour into their wait for a meal. A confirmed booking is a commitment and should be treated as such.

Great place to have a feed and a Guinness after a 7 hour drive. Will stop here again when next in town

The Irish Murphy’s in Ballarat is a great place to get a meal and drink Guinness. The staff create a great atmosphere. Everyone is really friendly and great to get along with.
