The Lounge at The George Hotel Is a fantastic functions & corporate space available for your next event every day of the week. It is ideal for corporate or large social events. The Lounge can accommodate 150 seated guests or 300 guests cocktail style (standing). Elegance and sophistication abound in Ballarat’s most suitable CBD functions and events space. The Lounge is located at the rear of The George Hotel. This elegant space, refurbished just a few years ago, is perfect for special occasions and ideal for large weddings.

Good breakfast and good coffee. The place was quite busy, including takeaways. The sourdough bread seemed to be slightly fried; I would have preferred without had I known. Cost was $42 for big breakfast, toast with eggs and 2 small coffees. Hardly a bargain, but not bad. We would go back

Fantastic Xmas day lunch. Nice and spacious not squashed in like sardines. Great food and service. Well done to all the staff who worked today. Your employer should be so appropriated of your work.

The girls at the cafe are amazing. Their register was down this morning but that didn’t stop them doing their jobs. I’m a regular customer there. The food is ALWAYS amazing and the coffee is always on target. The girls always serve with a smile and my kids just LOVE the waffles! Still my favourite resultant and cafe!

Used to be good, now it’s turned bad. Don’t know when they decided to hire 65 year old dj’s but maybe they should re think their decision. Don’t bother

Beautiful venue, I love the live music they put on. Especially Brodie Farlech from Overdrive. If you ever see him or Overdrive are gonna be there I strongly recommend the night out
