Superbly impressed by this restaurant for their services, friendliness, and efficiency. The food are of high standard and quality for freshness and deliciousness. First time I had oysters with blueberry pickled. My husband and I weren't sure what to expect, but I would say, we would not have them the other way, we LOVED it! The rest of the food was full of yummy surprises. We will make the 2 hours trip from Mt Dandenong to Ballarat to dine there again.

Amazing experience of taste sensations!! Absolutely impressed with the combinations and presentation of each plate... Staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and when I attempted to compliment the Chef on his quality of food served... he was adamant the service was to the credit of everyone involved!! I had one dish that was not exactly to my order, however it was still amazingly delicious and I ate every mouthfull before I remembered to complain... Thank you all AZZURI team members!! -Jenisse.

Love Azzuri for dinner or breakfast! The staff are attentive, friendly & welcoming! Very cosy, romantic & warm ambience, we love seating near the fireplace! Staff were very friendly & attentive, service here is best to none. Food was very tasty and good quality. Also good selection of wine & cocktails….. tried their awesome mulled wine in winter. Mussels with mixed vegetable entree was very flavourful. Fried squid w rocket very fresh too. As for main, everything is delicious. We never get sick of the rib eye pork cutlet, very juicy & tender. My opinion it’s one of the best we had ever tasted. Squid-ink Seafood pasta was amazing too. Good spread of breakfast buffet beautifully laid out. Coffee was very good/strong too, goes well with the in-house baked blueberry muffin Kudos to all serving staff in Azzuri :

I booked to celebrate a special birthday for 8 people. I did let the operator know when I reserved the table, that we had one vegetarian coming with us. There was only one thing on the main menu to suit him. Unfortunately the main meal didn't suit him. There was not a lot of variety of dishes to suit all the remaining guests that I had with me. The service couldn't be faulted. Over all, most of the guests enjoyed their meal.

I stay here at Mercure Hotel regularly on business and l used to love coming to Azzuri for dinner as the meals were always superb but of late l would say there's a different chef now I've had meals that have been completely sub standard. Bland, flavourless and very poorly presented. The standard which was once excellent has now plummeted to really poor. I will dine somewhere else when l stay here until it improves. Would not recommend.

Went to Azzuri for my wedding anniversary a booking of 13 plus a toddler,, we had a great time service was great making sure we were all okay with the food which was delicious I had the grilled Barramundi it was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection, everyone's food was cooked lovely. Desserts were amazing.. A big thanks to April for looking after us. Cheers!! Rose.

The Restaurant has a blend of cuisines. Great risotto with a twist “crunchy” : my duck was a little tough and once you’ve eaten duck breast that melts it’s a long-standing go to. The Caesar salad with pancetta was excellent, paired with an Argentinian Malbec. Service is friendly and engaging.

I had dinner at Azzuri the two nights I stayed at the Mercure. The pork loin and the lamb rump were both tender and delicious. The pineapple cannelloni stuffed with marscapone is the pick of the desserts. The staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend eating here.

Been here a couple of times, only for coffee and cake, the place is clean, tidy and appealing, the staff are friendly and efficient. Coffee is perhaps a 7 out of 10, you wont go home saying its the best coffee you ever had, but you certainly wont say its the worst. Cakes, and other munchies are better than average and the environment on the deck outside by the lake is actually lovely. I have visited here at low volume times and have never seen it busy so far. All in all 8/10
