The Red Lion Hotel is Ballarat's premier entertainment facility with something for everyone. Whether you're after a delicious meal in the relaxing atmosphere of Leo's Restaurant, a spot to catch all the sports and racing action in Simba's TAB or a great place for drinks after work, the Red is the place to meet.
We are proud to say we are Ballarat's first and only venue to serve Carlton Draught unpasturised Tank Beer.

We are in the restaurant section, where they have full table service. Staff are friendly and attentive, sevice was very good. The duck spring rolls were amazing. The snack pack parma, although good, was over sauced . The salad with the calamari was spot on in flavour and texture. It's definitely worth the drop in for a meal.
We came up for a weekend away and ended up having a lunch here and a dinner and my whole family including the kids loved it here. A special mention to our waitress Millie she was lovely and made the experience even better. The best customer service
Red Lion is the place to go for food if you're visiting sovereing hills. They open by 8 am. We had an egg burger and an egg sandwich and it was so yummy.nWe went there for lunch as well. Again we enjoyed the food. Food is amazing, portions are good and also reasonably priced.
Just had dinner there. The duck salad was very refreshing and tasty. Salt and Pepper Calamari was spectacular. Very nice place wonderful ambience and outstanding customer service. Great value.
Great service and great food. Not much more you could ask for.nStaff especially Milly we're friendly and patient.nMeals were a good size and the chips were super crunchy!nA small pick would be to thicken up the gravy, was finding it hard to stick too anything.nnAll round great job
