Love love love this building and ‘space’. Industrial feel. Clean toilets.nTrouble is the wait for our food was about 15 minutes… which is a very long time for fast food!
Spacious but quite dirty. Staff took so long in taking orders. Messed up our order twice and called the police on someone who just swore because they messed up his order. Def Bad customer service!!! Calling the police because of alleged swearing is def their recourse instead of improving their customer service! Go somewhere else!
Appalling service. 35 minutes in the drive throughnMacdonalds is no longer fast food.nnDrive through window looks like a bomb site, crap everywhere and dirtynnNo apologies or anything for sitting there stuck in the que. Would be good to actually be told when you line up how long to expect to be served.nnPerhaps even free food vouchers or a refund for your shitty service. Not impressed.nnAvoid bakery hill.
Like others have said, I've been here a couple times and it's not great. Took about 30mins each time for basic orders. First time was cold everything, this time half the order was missing when we finally got it, and no pickles on the burgers when no one requested that. Seen other customers struggle to get staff attention when there are issues as they seem to hide up the back. Maybe drive thru is a better experience but no one seemed in a hurry so maybe not. Building is new and fairly clean.
This McDonald's in Ballarat is housed in a cooler than usual building. We stopped in for a late lunch before an a day/ night event at Kryal Castle.nWalking in from the parking area, we were met with a lot of mess and rubbish on tables and floor area. Approaching the service desk, I had to wait ages to be served, since I only had cash on me.nWe had to get the staff to open the toilets for us to use, as they were locked....but both male and female toilets were filthy nonetheless with urine all over floors and toilet seats, paper on floors....nMy burger was cold, but everyone else's food was ok. We did like the stained glass lights and upper seating area.
