Always look forward to going to eat at Table 48. Gus and the waiters are always so friendly and provide fast service. The chefs are always cook consistently great meals. You pay for what you get here and what you get is Ballarat best restaurant.

Awesome food. Risotto was cooked perfectly. Pizza spot on. Great staff. The gentleman who served us as a walk in treated us like old friends.

Food was nice, decor and layout inside was not what I was expecting for the outside. Customer service was good. It was a bit on the expensive side.

Very disappointed in this dining experience. As a family we ordered 4 meals and drinks, my wife asked about the lamb and what part of the lamb they were serving and I enquired if the sauces for my rib eye were cream based. As we were near the kitchen, we heard the head chef say to the server " ask them if they want to know what colour jocks I have on" This was the start of the disappointment. Apparently Table 48 are renowned for their steaks.... as mentioned, I ordered the rib eye cooked to a medium.. The steak came out and from the first bite I knew it was extremely overcooked , to the point of being very dry to chew. The mushroom gravy that was poured over the top , not on the side like I would have expected, was nice and the only thing that made this meal bearable. This is the second time I have eaten there with my family and I can say that it will be the last. Rude chefs, poor cooking skills and a huge push on the drinks ( asked every 5 min) have made this a " no go zone" for myself and family. Save your money and go to the Steak House in Ballarat for a great steak.

Service is great and the owner/manager always greets us fondly - which is why we keep coming back! My go-to is the ravioli.
