Oscar's Hotel & Cafe Bar

My wife and I went there for a meal, and loved it! Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the meal was superb! Best Atlantic salmon dish in Ballarat, and we both felt the pricing was reflected in the quality of the dish. It was our 23rd wedding anniversary, and we wanted somewhere relaxed, could not of asked for a better venue. Thanks guys😊.

Poor service... As soon as you walk in greeted by Saying tables with cutlery are reserved please find your own table not being shown to a table I thought was poor.. To then ordering drinks and not having everything on the menu was very annoying... Food was a bit overpriced took 40 minutes for a pulled pork sandwich and a beef mango salad and there wasn't even a dozen tables in... Pork was dry, portion sizes were horribly small.. Staff standing around doing nothing... All in all poor service and quality. Would not recommend

Service was ok. Food was great I thought. I had the lamb salad with goat cheese and then had the lemon tart for dessert. Would come again for sure when I am in town.

Have a beer or a coffee. They make a great coffee and their food menu has your standard fare. Although their service can be slow even when they are not busy.

Pretty loud. Difficult to talk. Food ok, bit overpriced
