Booked a powered site for a campervan last minute for two nights. Staff were very helpful with booking as we were due to arrive late. The site is in a good location by the strand so morning walks with nice scenery just outside the camp. We only used the toilet and shower block near the entrance to the camp and the facilities were ok. The powered site was very spacious. Spoke with a lady in reception who gave us some good ideas for things to do. We were going to go magnetic island but had thunderstorms all day. Couldn't fault anything.

Nice spot with decent facilities. My campervan needed a battery start up and the staff helped me to keep my roadtrip going. Thanks!

Average park with a small pool, but adequate. Close to town. Well priced.

This place is most definitely basic, but you're not paying for 5 star luxury and for the price, it's perfect. The location is superb, right on the Strand close to the Rock Pool. Everything is clean and functional. Wi-Fi is available in one area. Units are air conditioned and have TV. Next time were in Townsville with the kids, well definitely be staying here
