Very friendly and efficient service. Late check in was easy and fast as we arrived late at 1am. Came after the breakfast hour but the lovely lady made us some brekkie anyways. Breakfast spot is overlooking the cityscape, which is really nice and refreshing. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Overall we had a good stay here. I’d recommend this to friends and family who are visiting Townsville.

Very reasonably priced motel less than a 5 minutes drive from Townsville city centre. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained though certain things are showing it's age. Service is friendly. The breakfast provided however, advertised online as very good was a tad disappointing. Though one should not be expecting a full buffet breakfast at that price point, but I think that they can certainly do better than 2 pan seared slices of bread, a fried egg and a slice of bacon. 3.5 stars out of 5.

Great place.
Great views over the Strand, North Ward and Magnetic Island.
Very close to the city centre.
The room was clean, tidy with new linen on the beds. Tea, coffee etc.
Breakfast was fresh cooked bacon and an egg with 2 slices of toast, tea, coffee and juice as well as jam.

The two staff I had contact with were very helpful and friendly.

We will stay here again.

Ridgemont is excellent. The room had a sea view with breakfast in tariff. Everything was first class. Location with view of Magnetic Island and 5 minute walk to city centre.  We will be back. Highly recommend.
