Wonderful experience and stay on our recent family holiday. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Rooms were very clean and modern. Room service added an extra bonus to our stay. The pool was very clean and family friendly. The kitchenette had everything you need. Perfect location and walking distance to cafes/restaurants/water/park and supermarket. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning again soon!
Outstanding stay. Beds are super comfortable great pillows too. Location is perfect for The Strand, Coles etc. Rooms are excellent - we loved our stay so much we cancelled a future booking at another venue to stay here again. Staff are excellent. Best accommodation in Townsville.
Got to know this hotel for the first time, as it was booked by my workplace for a course the next day. The car park was easy to access, with clear signage, gated entry, and it felt safe. When we parked at the car park, we heard some hooning near the roadside and thought, “Oh no, we might hear this noise from the room too.” However, when we arrived in the room, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming soft and relaxing music playing, such a sweet and thoughtful touch! Unexpectedly, the room was also very quiet throughout the night.nnThe room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was honestly the smoothest and softest I’ve ever slept on, very comfortable for my sensitive skin. The room was also well-equipped with a kitchenette, utensils, and a microwave, which made simple cooking convenient.nnWe had a pool view, which looked lovely and clean. Unfortunately, we had such a short stay and didn’t get the chance to enjoy it as we arrived late and left early. Coles, restaurants, and The Strand are all within walking distance, which was very convenient.nnThe receptionists were very welcoming and lovely. We would definitely love to stay again if we have the chance!nnHana & Richard
We spent a single night at the Quest as travelling through Townsville and a convenient location to spend the night.nBooking online was straightforward.nCheck-in was fast and managed by friendly and engaging front office staff.nLocation of this property is perfect with regards to access to cafes, restaurants, supermarket and the beach.nCleanliness. The reason for a lower score is that although the room was clean, the shower had a level of mould that seemed more than one would expect. A little more attention should be paid to this area. Other cleanliness aspects of the bathroom, and living/ bedroom areas were very good.nParking. Ample paid parking is available.nI do recommend this hotel where accommodation in this area is being considered.
When I checked in the reception staff asked me how my day was going and I explained that I had to go back to work and I’ve been travelling since 5 o’clock in the morning and I had a few more hours to go so not so good. They were extremely prompt checking me in and I was able to rush back to work. When I finally got back to my room at 8: 30 p.m. I found a gift and a note saying they hoped my day had got better. This is going above and beyond what I ever expect when I’m travelling hospitality here is five stars and I felt so welcomed. It’s extremely clean and the facilities are marvellous. I would very much recommend staying here.
