Rent A Bomb Car Rentals Richmond

This was my first time visit at Melbourne and I rented car from it and it was a last minute deal. On that time I got a car which was Mitsubishi Mirage, a small car only car left at It's stock. I was so tensed about that car whether it could meet my purposes. I have travelled so many places around Melbourne for 4 days and it’s performance was excellent. Fuel consumption was so economic and I was really surprised with Bomb's car's professional service. Also they have returned my security deposit within a week I have returned my car to the. Thanks the customer sevice person who helped me to get the car at the last moment. Highly recommended for a car with a very reasonable price. Thanks again Bomb.

I had never used rent a bomb and always hired fairly new cars from hertz, budget etc and paid a fortune. I decided to take a chance and rent from here and was really worried the whole time after reading all the reviews for rent a bomb. When we went to book it in and pick the keys up from the Sth Melbourne office, Tom served us. He was the only one dealing with the customers coming in but he didn't rush thru things with us, explained everything to us in a professional manner. The car he gave us was a Toyota Rav 4. In their eyes it may of been a "bomb" but I thought it looked and drove like a fairly new car. I currently own a 2021 Nissan X Trail The company took $400 from my credit card as a bond and I received it back in the acct within a wk after i returned the car. Tom served me again when i returned the car and was professional and FRIENDLY and the customer service was fantastic from him. We ended up paying $46 a day for the car and paid an extra $10 a day as extra insurance, so a total of $56 a day for the 4 days of hire with min excess of $500. Still half the price of one of the main car hire companies. Would definitely go back to them.

Con charged me a hefty $65 cleaning fee for less than a few small hairs on the front seat. After explaining I wasn't happy with this and providing photographic proof of the fact that it would have taken less than a few minutes to pull these off. He stuck to his guns and advised me not to contact them again. After getting in the car it was obvious that deodorising the car is not something they do. I also never had a dog in the car which he kept saying I did. All and all I was really unhappy with the service and treatment. Next time I'll book elsewhere.

Friendly staff and very helpful! I rented a van for 3 weeks and had no issue, it work fine and did the job perfectly. I recommend Rent A Bomb before you go anywhere else, you wont be disappointed.

Had the worst experience with Rent a bomb. Had booked and paid for the car 10-7 days in advanced, only for the operator to call an hour before the pick up time to inform no car was available. The operator Kathy, was rude and unwilling to work out a solution. We even offered to travel to a different franchise to pick the car up, or take a different car type, model than what was booked initially since we had plans for the day and just couldn’t cancel everything on an hours notice. Most unreliable, unprofessional service. Do not recommend at all. You will be wasting your time and money with them.
