Stayed during summer in the two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Loved the location (right next to cathedral junction and new regent street). The apartment itself was actually two separate rooms joined together. It was a good size overall but the bathroom is relatively small. Staff were accommodating even though we had issues with bedding arrangement and it was relatively late when we arrived (our train was delayed). I liked that there was a 2-in-1 washer/dryer in the room too. We didn’t have a car at this leg in our trip so no comments about parking. Overall decent stay at the price we paid despite some hurdles at the beginning.

Phenomenal location. The staff is great. We got there during a sweltering heat wave. They didn't have air conditioning (most places in Christchurch didn't) because they don't normally get that hot. When we asked about it, they upgraded us to a room with a balcony so we could open the doors to get more air, and brought us extra fans. Super thoughtful. They stored our luggage for us while we went on a 4 day hike at no cost. When we got back, they put us in another upgraded room, and had installed a new air conditioner. Again, great service, great amenities, great location. Quest will be my first choice when I return.

It was really good...I only stayed for 1 night.. They made my time worth it.. Very centrally located. Trams can be accessed every 15 mins. Overall nice place.

Great location, competitive price. Very spacious. Sunny and bright and close to many cafes, convenient stores, easy checkin.

Great location, bang in the middle of the cathedral square. There are ample eating joints around within walking distance. They have paid underground parking but the entrance is hidden and quite narrow. Best parking in the public car park right next to the hotel. Its free for the first after 5 pm and on Sundays as well. The hotel is divided into 2 wings, the main wing and the east wing. Both the times we stayed at Quest Christchurch, we were allocated rooms in the east wing which was highly disappointing. The entrance to the east wing is cramped and you feel like you are entering a dodgy student accommodation rather than a serviced apartment. The lift has a claustrophobic feeling to it and the corridors are tired, very tired. The rooms have no aircon and frankly, the one standing fan they provide is not sufficient to keep the room cool. The bathroom is small, very little space on the sink bench. Overall a 2 out of 5, we paid the cost of a serviced apartment and got a budget student accommodation.
