Best location. Slightly slow check in but worth it for how cheap the rooms are but have everything you need and more. even the interior rooms with no view are very small, but the way the rooms are designed are great with nothing missing out (fridge,kettle,hairdryer,ironing board,phone). laundry facilities are great. and the restaurant downstairs is slightly pricey but fantastic service and food is unreal-so it's worth it! Staff are also very friendly and want to help out where they can

For the price, this place is hard to beat.  But it depends on what you're looking for.  It ticks all of the boxes for me personally, but I could see how it might not for some.  The rooms are rather small.  It was cozy for my boyfriend and I, but would be cramped for families, or people who do not want to be in close quarters.  There is some lighting system that is over the top, which was fine for me, but it could be hard to figure out when you're just trying to operate lights in the room.  The bathroom space is also pretty small.  Feels like being on a ship.  Wifi is only free up to a certain amount of data usage a day.  Then you have to pay! However, the location is great, and the price is reasonable.

Had a great stay of 5 nights. Staff was really friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean and made for a great place to explore Christchurch from. Can only recommend.

This hotel is in an excellent location in central Christchurch - near the shopping malls and just a short walk from several bars and restaurants.  The room was a little on the small side, but it was well designed with plenty of power outlets and a good bathroom.  Our bed was comfortable, the WiFi was good and the staff were very helpful.  We were very impressed to find an alert and friendly staff member on reception when we checked in to the hotel after midnight.

Great location — the room is small, so is the bed, but you get what you paid for. If you are taller than 188(6’2)cm I won’t suggest here for you. Great for a one night stay, but could be difficult for longer stay since your room may not have a window.
There is a gym onsite and bars restaurants nearby, very convenient location.
