I was blown away by how friendly the staff were at this hotel and it was a highlight for me. They were so helpful and attentive.nnThe location is fantastic, the hotel was clean and the facilities are good. The gym is quite small but has enough equipment for a decent workout. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Christchurch.
The staff and service were great and on the surface level the hotel looked nice. However, the air conditioning sounded like a train and I had to turn it off at night so I could sleep. Along with this the room did not seem very sound proof.
Extremely well located in town, walking distance to everything you need, ideal for the conference centre. The staff are always very helpful, spacious rooms that are well kept. Gym could do with an update, but enough to keep you rolling whilst travelling. Bar/Restaurant on level 1 quite good for a hotel, although an early close time on Friday and Saturday was confusing.
The hotel was very good, well located and check-in staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were spacious but didn't like the bathroom handbasin combined with the coffee area basin.nI would wash my make-up off at nights, then have to use the same basin to wash the glasses and coffee cups. Great views as always. Have stayed at this hotel about 5 times and enjoyed the views. Recommend location, rooms and staff to travellers.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable. The happy hour was so nice we stayed for dinner. The steak was perfect. The Caesar salad would not be for purists, but it was good. We thought it was good value for everything.
