One of the best camping sites we have been to in the North Island. Very neat and generous sized sites coupled with fantastic staff makes this a go to camp site for us. The beach with its black sparkling sand makes it very different from others. Love it.
Camp ground looking great. Amenities are in process of a face lift. Management very easy to deal with. Great to have our dog with us over the winter months. Thankyou Onaero Bay.

Always a nice place to be, only thing that was not was some other campers starting music after midnight. When you've got a young family, this is not at all appreciated. Not reflective of the camp, but maybe a reminder to campers to be considerate of others.

Really like this camp site, very friendly and helpful staff. Great for kids. We always have a great time, swimming, fishing
Quiet little getaway hidden on state highway 3. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Leave the kids or bring them, the choice is yours. Low tide can get you to other private beaches for a couple of hours. Good facilities but no outside barbecues provided, charcoal BBQ or open fires not permitted but you can bring your own gas BBQ or cook in the kitchen
Amazing campground and the manager is awesome.
A spontaneous trip to Taranaki only to find a awesome holiday park, very friendly people and just an all round awesome atmosphere and the people are very friendly and welcoming, our little family will definitely be back
