Wonderful family beach, great kuds play area. Would of course be mindful of kuds in the water there, really fun river and sand areaLocation: 5/5
Great campsite, the manager was very good and informed us of the swimming status of the river, which was safe, and of the good fishing spots. The biggest letdown were the locals who would bring their dogs down, despite the fact that it is very clearly signposted that dogs aren't allowed in the area due to a local bylaw. We will definitely be returning.
It is always good to come to the camp and cross the river, pile up the sand dune and head out along the beach to unwind. Shop is handy and the people there are always friendly
Beautiful spot. . Jan is a lovely lady. Felt very welcome and relaxed. Camp ground has everything you need.
This would be a prime spot for a weekend Cafe & fish n chips... Stunning beach though.
Nice place with a great view to the mountain if the weather is clear. The spot is beautiful and decently cheap. With the beach just down the hill it's ideal for families, just be aware of the water conditions before going for a dip
Our second visit and not the last. Great facilities and always clean. Playground for children, good swimming. Not so good fishing as not caught anything yet. Only one downside is the lack of being able to place refuse in recycling bins but that could be due to the location of camp perhaps.
Had a great stay. Facilities are clean and work well. River is wide and swimmable. Ocean is really close. People who run it were amazing, if you needed help they were right there. Ty again. Ben. Great pricing!
We hired out a batch and 2 cabins as I had my farewell here over the Easter weekend. The batch was a great hidden place away from the other batches. We absolutely loved and enjoyed every moment spent .The batch was such a great place to spend with family an friends and no complaints from our neighbours. There is a BBQ at the batch which is so handy during the summer time. They have a playground onsite an heaps of open space for the kids to play and the beach is right there. We were even able to go out for a fish. The showers uptop were lovely and hot with great pressure. We found the pricing very reasonable and affordable .Cabins got abit cold at night but it's great they had a heater so when we went back to our cabins to sleep our cabins were lovely and warm , sleeps up-to 7-9 people. The dining area were quite spacious and we would get ready there before heading over to the main batch. Laundromat was a bit busy but we managed to use the machines before we departed, the machine takes $2 coins. They have a Lil tuck shop at the reception which is handy when you'd not want to travel out. The lady was great to deal with and managed to rearrange a few things around. On the last day of check out she reassured we didn't have to rush to leave which was a great feeling when you have a long travel ahead.I will definitely be coming back here again : it's a great location and the weather was amazing. Highly recommend the closest town is 8-10mins away. The only downside was the limited reception but it was good to see the kids be kids
Always my go to place Beautiful n Peaceful RelaxingLocation: 5/5
